Professor, the cube Cable uses to time travel, is stored in his techno organic arm. When Bastion absorbed Cable's arm, he unknowingly absorbed it. When he blew up, it caused the X-Men to be scattered across time.

Storm's "you're fucked" laugh got me. Season 2 looks to explore the Cable/Apocalypse cycle.

I cried in that scene with Erik and Charles. When he was scared to let go and afraid of his own torment "it's too cold. I'll drown!" "And I'll always have you, Magnus. Even if I'm also pulled under..." Damn, such good friends ❤ I love them so much more than any other characters. There is no Erik without Charles and vice versa. Love for The X-Men ❤

When Charles is telling Erik to remember magneto, when he says “remember what he was meant to do” he means, that magneto is and was always meant to be the ultimate protector of the mutant race. A Omega level mutant meant to protect his own from anyone that means them harm.

Gambit will be back as Death, the Horseman of Apocalypse. Mother Askani is Rachel Summers, Scott and Jeans daughter. That storyline is pulled straight from the 4 part mini series from the 90’s called The Adventures Of Cyclops And Phoenix. En Sabah Nur is Apocalypse.

ONSLAUGHT is the best crossover saga Marvel ever made. And we're definitly getting it! The radio channel we see just before Peter and MJ is set to 1996.6, and ONSLAUGHT first revealed himself in the June 1996 issue! The clue is very subtle, but hey it's there! But it will take time for Charles to slowly abandon his dream and be consumed by grief and resentment. My bet is Charles will become Onslaught at some point in the second half of season 2, and the entire 3rd season will be Onslaught.

Think Bastion is still a live.....he has the ability to time travel now, he just needed a huge power source like the singularity created by the nuke missiles hitting the gravity core, provided enough juice for him to time travel. I think Bastion is coming back in the 2nd season, and I think Jubilee will actually be instrumental in beating him. They were sure to show the little that she did caused him the most damage. I mean, the way she fried arcades, her walkmans, security systems, they could just run with her powers ultimately mess with his tech.

Mags has three kids. Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver and Polaris (the third one on the boat with green hair) and she's basically a slightly less powerful Magneto.

Unless they gloss over it, Logan doesnt have Bone Claws in this cartoon, that story didn't exist yet. The episode with Captain America, he had to use Claws he had to hold, he even gave a pair to Captain America so they could both scale the cliff to get into Red Skulls base, so unless they just ignore that, no bone claws here.

Only possible down side is Disney Fired the show runner for something...? He had a 5 season plan for the show so were does it go now? 26:01 I am actually REALLY glad that you said that, Erik hasn't really been given a fair "draw" on this show (no pun intended, but there's definitely one in that statement). After being shown the worst aspect of human nature 1st hand as a child. He chose to brush that aside in the wake of his best friend's "passing". Bastion and Sinister came in with the support of many humans and wreaked havoc. The Genosha Episode I think marked a VERY critical point in Magneto's arc with the feeling that it'll NEVER be enough good for the Mutants to do, to be fully accepted as equal beings born on the same planet. Hell the X Gene triggering Mutation itself is Random asf so to see the backlash to Mutants from Humans entirely Justifies Magneto's distrust. Charles hijacking Erik's mind had to happen but that in turn repowered Bastion's army of Sentinel-Human Hybrids that was practically aimed at Mutants alone. Granted, The X-Men Prevailed, Thank God For Jean and the Phoenix Force Energy. I guess one can argue that since Sinister and Bastion was responsible for the attack on Genosha that Magneto can't blame the Humans for it, yet there are still many Humans that unnecessarily dislike Mutants but ironically can't help but create them lol.

Seeing that post credit scene Gambit will definitely be coming back as the horseman of death. Season 2 might only have 10 episodes just like season 1. So maybe the first 5 episode the x-men will deal with Apocalypse in the past and future. And then the last 5 episodes all the x-men will go back to their timeline in the present day to stop Apocalypse and his new 4 horsemen.

I really like how into X-Men '97 you are! Your reactions to this series have all been excellent! The '90's Spider-man as okay, but have you ever seem the '60's Spider-man?

The Onslaught saga is one of the greatest story arcs in X-Men lore. Granted, everyone's entitled to their opinions. That being said, as one of your newfound followers, I really don't think you should let someone else's opinion dictate your choice of interest in something, just cuz you often agree with them on certain points. I'm not really the biggest fan of Colton as he's often been in the minority on a lot of stuff that are actually very beloved by the overall consensus of hardcore comic book lovers. That's not saying he's completely wrong on certain other points because he does raise some pretty good ones too but I, personally, am just not a fan of his takes. But the Onslaught series is definitely an awesome arc and it seems like it'll be explored either within season 2 (which might be unlikely but you never know) OR as a post-credit stinger at the end of the season, teasing it for season 3. My advice, give it a shot. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Apocalypse has taken weak mutants and turned them into something more before, look up Gazer or Caliban. (And Onslaught would be okay, if it's kept short and leads into something else. Honestly, we haven't even seen the Juggernaut yet, and I'm yearning for that. Want somebody to tangle with? Juggernaut. And there's a story to be told there, one of jealousy and child abuse.)

I'm not entirely sure since I haven't read the comics but I think Onslaught (Charles and Magneto fusion) stays dormant in Charles' mind for a while until he emerges, I may be wrong though.

Bishop is the BIGGEST L TAKER of the series. This dude legitimately got his ass kicked in the first 2 episodes,disappeared at the end of episode 3 with the ONE JOB of protecting Nathan and he immediately failed that. Only for him to show 6 months after the Cataclysmic event that just occurred in the finale. What the hell dude. I ended up being completely right. But man Cyclops legitimately was amazing in this episode. His acrobatics mixed with his Beam vision was so dope. Especially with that Epic Beam Attack on Bastion reminiscent of the "BEHOLD. OPTIC BLAST!!" From the Marvel vs Capcom series. And man Rogue's Blitz on Bastion was beautiful.
