+Ian Perge hey man! If you can use your foot, check out OptionKnobs! You can take these knobs off of the pedal, and replace them with a large double sided fin that you can easily maneuver with your foot

Burning Hand Sounds Thank *you* for putting on a great demo! I’ve got a LARGE pedalboard of Bass Effects, but the makers of the Sustainiac™ Driver/Pickup actually make a Bass version by swapping out some electronics to make it more suited for Bass frequencies, so I don’t even need to design anything... just pay for it, have a Bass routed and it wired up. For almost a decade I’ve had the idea for an “Effects Bass”, with a Bass Sustainiac & a Kahler Bass Tremolo installed to be able to slide the pitch & harmonics up or down like guitarists do with Natural or “Sustainiac/Sustainer” Feedback. I’ve got the Bass and the proper Kahler trem, so that’s my next Gear Project. 🤘🏼 I’ve heard one other Bassist who had the same idea done, and it’s fantastic - without any Effects the Sustainiac adds just enough grit to sound like a bowed Upright Bass, and adding Effects is just a ticket to Crazytown, Doug Wimbish-style. And as nice as this pedal is, the Sustainiac driver is ACTUAL feedback as it vibrates the string by emitting magnetic fields (basically the reverse of a Pickups) whereas you can hear the artificiality some of the settings on the pedal. I’ve been waiting long enough, and I think my Original Plan is a solid one.

Psyfonify Thanks for the OptionKnobs info - I’ll keep them in mind for anything else that might come up. But as in my reply to “Burning Hand Sounds”, I’ve had the idea for almost a decade for an “Effects Bass”, with a Mainiac Music Bass Sustainiac™ (they make one by swapping out capacitors to lower the range to a Bass’) and a Kahler Bass Tremolo. I’ve got the Bass and the Kahlet trem, so that’s my next Project coming up to do... buying the Bass Sustainiac driver, routing the Bass for that & the Kahler, and having it wired it up. I’ve seen *one* other Bassist who came up with the same concept, and it’s trippy as hell... especially if you’re a Bassist who uses a bunch of effects, which I do! 👍🏼
