One of the problems I've seen lately( since CV19 ) is the lack of proper handling of items being shipped via the big shipping vendors! I've bought nine(9) Ebikes in the last seven(7) years. All came with some kind of damage to the shipping box. Most of the EBikes came undamaged inside the box. But, my last two(2), the shipping box took a beating. And the EBike did as well. For future reference, don't let the shipping driver leave before you open the box and check for damage. The last EBike is a Euphree Stellar Falcon, came from Texas. The shipping box had multiple holes on it. One of them caused major damage to the Altus derailleur and cassette( Euphree had sent me an email earlier warning me to examine the Ebike prior to accepting it from the shipping driver). I took alot of pictures and made a note on the carriers invoice that Ebike arrived damaged. I let the driver leave( nice guy(probably wasn't his fault)) and next texted Euphree with the pictures and the damage. Euphree was super!! They mailed me out a new Shimano Altus derailleur, new derailleur guard and cassette( also included a how to video on installation). It took a week for the parts to arrive but, I didn't have to pay for any of it!!! If you purchase an unknown brand Ebike for alot less money than the others, buyer beware. Listen to your YT's that investigate these things for us!! This channel is one of the best YT's !!! Kudos!!

Ecells is one of the best ebike companies I've seen so far offering lots of customization, free shipping no tax premium parts and they have a new one the 5 star which is 60v 20ah and less thqn $2k!

E cells is a fraudulent copycat company run by a convicted felon😂😂😂. The Wired bikes they are competing with now comes with 3200 watts and a 60v 35ah battery for $1999. Also, compared to the poor underpowered copy, the Wired bikes have a thru axle fork and full UL compliance in progress.

So I'm not the only 1 getting a lemon law eBike. Bought the new Mars 2.0 when it went on sale last Nov. Nothing but problems. The rack was damaged, the handle bars & folding stem were damaged, the seat had 2 blemishes, the front wheel bearings were over tightened or damaged when installed & the app they wanted me to use wouldn't work. The credit card charges were disputed after 3 months when Heybike just stopped communicating. So they lost the dispute & now I think the controller went out.

I think any company can have a problem with their product somewhere. The tricky is how they respond to that. I really wish that rad had a bike that I wanted to make my daily rider. I would buy it in a heartbeat because of the service they give us once before. But then again, the next time the service may not be as good. Kind of changes by the day with a lot of companies. Credit card companies will give you quite a bit of protection, but I do not believe they match what PayPal provides. Thanks for watching Steve. Glad you got your dispute settled. Looking back, I feel I got ripped off when i got my second e bike, I sold my XP cause I thought that I had fallen off a couple of times because of its size and weight. I then bought this smaller, lighter, weaker 36 volt, 350 W folding from a seller that has made no strides or increased market share for his product. Never gets mentioned, never seen on YT. I paid alike a grand 4 yrs ago and now I see it went up and there are so many better choices out there now that i would have never bought it if I had done a bit more research.

I have those handlebar grips on one of my bikes. Funny went with a hub drive. I know why you did. I keep looking at eMTB with a Mid-drive motors I want one for single trail riding not that I’m going to do it much but I want to once in a while. I’ve almost pulled the trigger on it twice, but I keep talking myself out of it because I do have a lot of bikes coming in that I need to prioritize, Lectric has sent me a Trike it’s arriving Friday apparently we’re old and they think we should have trikes 😂 as of right now I will have seven Trikes by the end of next month

Thanks for watching Gary. This bike I will not be using for off-road at all. And if I had to have one bike, only, it would definitely be a Middrive. But I am OK with his hub drive for the way I’m riding this particular bike. I know what you mean about having other commitments. I have turned away an awful lot of them as I am not interested in making this like a business. Go for it with a good eMTB. I am still lightly looking for a good class one to go and do some competition with. Not real serious search yet, but certainly in my head. Thanks again.

First off thank you for watching. This company also responded very positively at the beginning. As the bike had more and more problems, they became more and more resistant. They did do what they needed to do in the end. But it was because of what I did not because they would choose to. I would like to really bash them for that, but every bike company can have that same response. It depends on who you end up working with at that company. Geez - this is painful! Taking 16 minutes to tell a 3 minute story. At 2 minutes in... "Let me just pull over here, up that hill, and get started. No, well talk later about that thing I wanted to say. Well... maybe better, yes, to pull op on this nice hill. The first thing was ... well here's the problem .. and here is what I expectedvto happen. That didn't happen, so we start down this a method. [Without giving conclusions]. Now another problem, or at least what I thought was a problem. Well lemme ride over there to discuss this one. No, maybe better to discuss it now. It might have been a missing screw. [This is where I stopped. Good riddance]
