I once got delivered the wrong grocery order from my local supermarket and I received 20 cans of spam. This looks fairly easy to make. I guess I'm having spam and ketchup fried rice for dinner.
When we lived in Japan our maid made us kids simple fried rice. A little bit of ground beef and rice. She gave us ketchup to squirt on top. So simple and delish…that was between 1968 and 1972…best time of my life
Ketchup is my secret ingredient. I add it to spaghetti, chili and fried rice while cooking. My brother freaked out when he saw me add it to fried rice.
Ketchup and soy sauce really go together It's delicious I thought I was the only who used it in fried rice when I was a kid but she did it😋 It's really good even without the spam Just throw in some shallots and it's good to go

Yeah!!! Thanks, this never occured to me. If I'm gonna have ketchup on spam and eggs as sides with rice, makes sense to mix it in when I'm making fried rice. Would go good with the gochujang and kimchi.
You stay making food that seems so accessible for me to make 💖 im southeast asian so you're never gonna get any judgment from me for using spam in any of your dishes. Growing up, spam is one of the most common canned foods for my fam. They keep far longer, esp during typhoon season and we wouldn't have electricity for up to a few months.
I just made it! Super easy to make even for me who has managed to fuck up fried rice before 💀 tastes really good 👍 you can also easily adjust how much soy sauce and ketchup you want, I eyeballed it and tasted in between and it turned out well
