If some guy leaned on her, that'd be considered sexual harrassment. So don't do it to the guards. Their personal space shouldn't be violated either, especially when they're WORKING!

Imagine thinking that was ok? Some people are so strange. That young soldier has had to put up with a lot of crazy behavior the last few weeks. They all have.
he's a tourist distraction. a royal family equivilent to a guy in a Goofy suit assuming you dont think a guy with a shiney hat and sword is going to stop anyone with a gun or worse
I’m amazed at the disrespect towards the guards & animals. I guess people don’t realize these horses are working animals. They should be respected as such. I wish they would stop distracting & molesting them. It makes the jobs of these soldiers twice as difficult.
I was a guardsman in the 70s/80s it was just the same then. most of the time it was the Chinese tourists that would always try pushing you to your limit. a quick port arms and a shove would do the trick for us back then non of this shouting for us.
I just cannot comprehend how people think it’s ok to lean on a solider. They are not actors or wax works. The selfie and photo are SO important to them. I wonder if half of these tourists would do the same to soldiers / horses etc in their OWN country? I think not.

She was lucky that she didn't get worse than just a shove! I cannot understand why the don't shut the main Horse Guards gates,and block the end tunnel(to keep the tourists out) They should also build a "crush barrier" in front of the horses,to stop people annoying them (and the guard). When I first lived in London(1965) there very rarely any tourists at Horse Guards,now it's like an epidemic.Mind you,the Army doesn't help,by having a tourist shop within the area,and next to the arches,which causes most trouble for the guards. I really wonder if the tourists think they are like the actors in Disneyland?
I'm an American and even I understand that these men and women aren’t doing that for tourist views and pleasure. It's their job and they need to be treated with the utmost respect for what they do. Leave them alone and let them do their job.
Touching the king’s guards should be an automatic arrest. People are way out of line when it come to the guards. I have seen tourists do crazy things to them.

Why would I be surprised that the woman who stands right in front of this man taking a photo, would be the same person who thinks it’s OK to not follow the rules.
She did not lean on him. She leaned in to get the shot. But it would have still ended the same way. You have to respect they are guards and not furniture.
These guards are not toy soldiers or attractions! They’re highly trained soldiers, they’re security guards, guarding and protecting a very special and important place. Do not mess with them!
It's time for the UK government to impose hefty fines for any one not complying to the rules when being photographed with the Royal guards and horses. The fine should be Sterling pounds 10,000.
She was clueless all the way around anyway. 1st she stood right in front of the person making the video, blocking him. Then most people, with any common sense, knows guards are not an amusement attraction and not to treat them as though they are. She is one of the ones that wasn't issued common sense

It really is time that the guards and their horses had protection from these rude and disrespectful tourists, it's outrages that just to do your job you have to put up with the harassment of these idiots.
Good for him!! That is a mean duty those soldiers have to endure. If guards are needed there, they need to be in a guard house and ready to respond if there is trouble.
