Plot twist: this were the hospital where the kid died and now his soul sing this song every night to his parents.

I think this is like the fourth song from Kikuo that made me feel such uncertainty and despair (Midwinter's Daughter for some reason being the first, Desert Theater being the second, and Gommene, Gommene being the third)

Hearing the song like this made me remember something that happened a long time ago from when I was a child I had something(idk what it was called), but I remember that the doctor telling my mom and dad that it would probably kill me. I remember them crying a lot, telling me I’d be okay. But I felt sad, because I hated seeing my mom and dad cry over my little frail self. I tried to be optimistic, telling them I’d be okay. But deep down I was scared that one day they’d find me and I wouldn’t wake up again, and they’d be heartbroken. And I think they knew it too. I think that maybe I was spared from death, or a miracle. Because I’m now in my twenties. This song, especially the lyrics: “don’t look at me with those eyes, mama/papa.” It made me tear up, so many children’s lives are taken each passing year, for a variety of causes. I can only pray that their parents find solace in the thought that they are in a better place, and that they will rejoin as a family once again.

to this day,the child sings this song to comfort other young children in the hospital, knowing the pain of it all. lurking in the dark, the child haunts the halls, singing the same song. they say that if you sing along, he will appear to ask you what is the matter.

This music like aesthetic suits the song so well. It's both cutesy and haunting.

Imagine this: You work in a children's hospital. It is nighttime. You and a few other doctors failed to save a child's life. But this was bound to happen anytime. You weren't supposed to feel sad about it. But you couldn't make that guilt at the bottom of your heart disappear. A few minutes later, you're walking in a corridor. The lights flicker. It's just an electricity problem. It can be fixed. But then the lights turn off and stop flickering. You're worried, but not frightened. You keep walking. The lights switch on again. But you see a doctor lying on the floor. In a pool of blood. His eyeballs and tongue have been ripped out. You can't help but scream. You ran as fast as you could, to the hospital doors. The doors were locked. You decided you had no other choice but to be very careful and hide in a room. You quietly but quickly went upstairs as soon as you heard noises. You found a room to hide in. You closed the door and locked it. You turned around and saw a bed. You realized this was the same room the child you failed to save died in. Then you had a horrifying realization. You turned around and saw the child looking at you. She was grinning, you were frightened, your face could show it. Then the child stopped grinning and make a disgusted face. "Don't look at me in that way," were the last words you heard before she grabbed your neck and you fell asleep...in pain.

I love this, it's like traumatizing but I dont know that and wont care if it actually did me good Its like I'm playing tag with children at school (my school has elem, mid and high school combined and I'm quite popular with those in lower levels) then this song suddenly plays and echoes throughout the school and I find mgself alone, I would be the IT searching for the children or the person playing the damned song, I love this setting and this song But I hate that siren at the end

Case Scenario: (Read it if you wanna but obviously, this'll contain mentions of a kid dying, maybe some gore and all the other stuff that's associated with the song and it's lyrics..) As a spirit medium, your primary task or well, your side quest atleast is to lead the souls of those who are lost into the afterlife and bring the unfortunate peace.. After all, once they have left this world of the living, they can no longer return.. Today was different as you had recently heard about a tragic accident occurring during a parade that had happened this afternoon.. During the parade, a young boy was biking too quick because of the velocity that was given to him while riding down a nearly endless slope.. I say nearly because at the end of said slope, his path crosses with one of the parade's floats and in result.. He crashes into the float only to be trampled by the rest of the parade that followed.. The poor boy was scattered, crushed and spread along with his blood and body parts.. Medics and Ambulances came in but unfortunately for the young boy.. it was too late, there was no way to recover from severed limbs nor the body parts to be more exact.. His death was quick but devastating for those who had seen it.. The parade was immediately closed and put to a stop after the accident as police soon came in after, redirecting the citizens away from the death scene.. With the police came the parents of the poor boy as they broke out in tears once seeing the remains of their only chile who they swore to raise and stay by their child's side as they grew up.. Who knew a parade that was suppose to bring nothing but happiness and joy was gonna be the one who brings heartbreak and devastation for these unfortunate parents.. Going back to your point of view.. Being the spirit medium that you are, you go to the death scene and arriving there, you can still see some of the blood splatters on bith the walls and road but the severed limbs and body parts have been removed.. You look around the place before encountering the grieving father and mother of the young boy who had been in the accident.. They were both holding each other close while continuing their mourning as they sat on a bench near the death scene.. Beside them was a box seemingly to be the young biy's belongings.. containing toy cars, a music box and some comics.. You look back to the death scene and see the bike that the boy used to bike down the slope that led to his demise.. But.. beside that bike.. You see the little boy, yes, the same boy who had died look onto the blood stains and the spot where his main body was before being removed.. You assume this to be the boy's spirit/soul.. This little boy was younger than you expected.. it was too early for him to leave this world all so quickly.. The little boy doesn't look.. sad though, he looks happy infact as he looks at the bike he biked on with a smile.. but this smile falls onto a frown as he looks at his parents.. He looks ashamed of himself.. You looks over to the parents who were still holding eachother close then look back to the young boy.. You speak to him in a soft tone.. reassuring even.. "Don't worry little boy.. You will.. meet once again.. but now, it's time for you to leave.." You say as you kneel down to the little boy.. the boy looks suprised that you, a random stranger is able to see him.. "I can't talk to mama nor papa anymore.. I want to tell them that I am thankful.. for everything they've done.. that I love them.. and that I'm sorry.." The little boy says as he looks at you.. He wants his parents to continue on with their lives despite the tragedy.. Of course this will take some time but the little boy does have a point.. We all need to move on eventually.. You smile at the boy and nod.. "I will tell them this.. May you rest in peace little boy.." The young boy smiles back at you.. He gets onto his previous bike as he gives you one final look before biking off into the distance as he fades away.. You go the parents and help them out as much as you can.. You hope that one day, when the time comes, these parents can cross paths with their child once more and together.. reunite and rest in peace..
