i love how forgiving manly is with the game creators. hes very mature with his gameplay and reviews, instead of criticizing or making fun of the games style or mechanics, he just plays them and has fun. and hes played just about everything too. literal horror game god

Not gonna lie, when I clicked into this, I wasn't expecting to learn something about horror game design. But now I have learned that "a monster that disrupts your usual gameplay is more threatening than a monster who's just deadly", and will have to apply it to future projects

I always questioning video games and their “ accidentally fell asleep in __” situations then remember as a kid I fell asleep in a church and got left there at night it was the scariest thing ever.

I like how this joke game that doesn't take itself seriously is 40 minutes long lmao

Feel like maybe the "Eat Lunch within 3 minutes and 14.5 seconds" thing might not just be a pie joke, but maybe you need to beat the game within that time to unlock another ending or access the basement. Also the random notes with blocks of numbers are a simple substitution cipher where number=letter of the alphabet. The note at 8:35 for instance starts off with "Ying results she says im so close and...". Will maybe finish the rest in an edit to this comment but it's really hard to make out what a few of the final numbers are supposed to be. Someone else can do the other notes, squinting at this is giving me a headache. I will say I feel like all of the number=letter notes probably go together and flow into one big note. Edit: Okay I tried my best to finish this one note but I'm not doing any more. It says "...ying results she says im so close and pusces me for w...". I think "pusces" is supposed to mean posses, like possession, but either the authors first language isn't English or the spelling mistake is intentional.

It's silly, but it also led to some truly hilarious deaths. I was not prepared for the army of Larry's to just be ready to jump Manly the moment he stepped out of a room. That's amazing.

I don't hear Mandy's real laugh very often, I'm glad I got to hear it today

I noticed that the round where you got ᴸᶦᵗᵗˡᵉ ᴸᵃʳʳʸ to follow you down the ladder, before going back up to get the new paint, was the only time ᴸᶦᵗᵗˡᵉ ᴸᵃʳʳʸ didn’t show up with the other Larrys on that floor. I think that might be a viable strategy to be able to keep ᴸᶦᵗᵗˡᵉ ᴸᵃʳʳʸ from getting you, during that particular part.

I live way up near Canada. Like most places in the US, we test our sirens (tornadoes, etc.) every Wednesday but this Monday was a holiday so things were pushed back a day. As soon as he was eaten by lil Larry, that fucking siren went off outside and I could have actually died.

if i had a drink for every indie horror game in the past few years where the premise is that you're some unfortunate shmuck trying to escape from/survive a cast of different characters by learning their unique behaviors and either finding some amount of something or holding out for some amount of time.... i'd be dead from liver failure this isn't a dunk on the concept as a whole, but by god did this trend go places

Getting spawn camped by all the Larrys is so funny.

At first I thought little Larry was a snitch and instantly calls scary Larry to get you,but that was just a glitch😅But my gosh,Little Larry is the worst one cause you can't hide and he tends to get grouped with the ones you need to hide from.

each larry seems to spawn in a specific order, regardless of which paint buckets you pick up, and then they spawn on the same floor as where you just picked up the bucket. basically, I think that you could somewhat strategize with which floor you put each larry on, to make it easiest for you to survive each one.

Don't worry he's just designing the next mario maker levels

This game has a really interesting concept, but it could definitely use some polish. Including some code to make sure the Larrys don't party around your door (easiest method would be making their spawns a certain distance away at minimum) and adding a jump button that lets you get past Little Larry. As long as the game can't decide to completely screw you over with bad RNG it would be great.

I don't think little Larry is intended to pursue on ladders...I think that's robo's deal...seems buggy. Fun little game tho, always look forward to your uploads, even when you get swarmed by Larrys.
