Beard oil (4 me) just feels better wit butter. I tried using just beard oil & it worked fine as is. But that butter & leave in makes my beard feel so much better. It's also cheaper sticking wit just oil (which is why I tried it)
False. Balm never really stopped flyaways for me. Ain't nothing really taming this birds nest. There are also oils, like Artius Man, thick enough to give me the same results as a balm or butter would.
How often are you trimming your beard and is it okay to use beard oil just once a day i work in construction when i apply in the morning i usually sweat it out..
I only trim my beard when it starts to look scraggly. I basically use beard oil once a day. Well, I guess technically, it's twice. Once for the day and once when I get out of the shower at night. Are you OK with sweating the oil out, or did you want more staying power until your day is over?

@@bubbamalone6063It's a possibility, but who knows!? Personally, I only use products in the morning for the day and after my shower. Technically, that's twice a day. I have no issues. If your oil isn't sustaining you throughout the day, I'd either try a company that uses Castor Oil and/or Jamaican Black Castor Oil in the carrier blend. You could also try and use a bottom coat of oil and a top coat of butter or balm during the day. My guess is that you should keep the moisture in your beard so you don't sweat it out.
@bubbamalone6063 right! You have to be careful when using both. You don't want to be all glazed up like a Thanksgiving turkey, lol. Something else that works for me is that I rinse my beard with water every night just to kind of help cut down on the potential of products build up. I use a little oil when I get out of the shower and dry off. My beard is a little damp when i apply the oil. What I do might be for nothing, but I don't have any issues, so I'll continue to run with what works for ME!
I finally found a beard oil at a store . .I've been using a fair amount. And still seems like my beard is soaking it up instantly and it'll be dry within a couple hours again ..any tips on that. ? Or more oil or a better quality beard oil
It really can be a few things. Quality of oil. The ingredients might not mesh well with your beard, putting oil in a dry beard instead of a damp beard, dirty beard. I typically don't use oils from the store. It just feels like they aren't as good as small batch companies. That doesn't mean that big box store products aren't good, but I just feel like small batch companies are more consistent with putting out quality products. Which brand are you using?
I feel like I keep hitting a dead end . My beard might be your size or slightly longer but it's been that way for months to years lol. And you did that in 6-7 months ...idk what to do to improve 😢
