I could grow a beard since I was like 25 . Never really grew it out with products till like 2019 . My beard would never get thick and had major split ends and breakage until I started using products. They do work but like you said . You need genetics on your side also

You pretty much summed it up at the beginning. Genitics mean a lot, a whole lot. Taking care of your beard using quality natural products helps keep your beard in good condition. Less breakage/split ends etc. Thing is, theres no evidence showing that Biotin, ( the main hair growth ingredient ) grows hair. No hate here, but there's no miracle drug/pill/serum. Your results could be that your just taking of your beard properly. In addition to hydrating properly, and a decent diet, and Genetics. Just my opinion though.

My diet isn't the best, and my water intake isn't the best. If anything, I'd say that maybe some of the anti-fungal and/or anti-inflammatory properties in the blend create a healthier environment, along with genetics. I just know what I see and feel. I may not be able to completely put a finger on it, but I have to give some credit to the products. You said it, though. There's no miracle to any of this at all.

I would also say as men. Guys don’t want to add a extra step and half the time it’s laziness. They wanna grow it but don’t want to take care of it. My dad for example. Has a good beard but it could be great. I give him products and they just sit there

That's a very good take. It also seems as if grooming yourself takes away from your masculinity. Not everybody can be Prince Akeem and have a beautiful lady servant do it for you 😂😂😂. Hopefully, you caught that! It's kind of off-topic, but kinda not.

Adding a water based balm to my night routine has really taken my beard to the next level, I know there is a lot of hate on water based products but it has really helped my beard health .

@clwashington35 yessir! I only use black soap to wash my beard. I've never used avocado oil alone, but I've used it while blended with other oils. Some companies use avocado in their blend.

@clwashington35 cool! Make sure you don't get that big box store crap! Real African black soap only has a few natural ingredients in it; cocoa pod ash, water, maybe platain skin, and some sort of plant based oil! Maybe not those exact ingredients, but there should only be a few ingredients. None should have any scientific names.
