Donkey Kong Country 2 hit the Switch's SNES app about a month ago, and we played the first game, so I figured I would play through this one. DKC2 also is my favorite of the original trilogy. Subscribe!

I've been playing this since they released it on the virtual console. Great soundtrack! Great platformer/adventure! So many wonderful memories from this game. [ Storytime ] There is a level ( Flight of the Zinger? ) where you're in a beehive with honey everywhere! Long story short when my Lil brother and I played we constantly trolled each other while playing co-op by throwing the other player character and long story short I had him laughing so fucking hard he literally shat his pants and it was a whole ordeal afterward.

I’d say Jungle Hijinx and Aquatic Ambience are other iconic songs from the DKC Series. Although to be fair, there seems to be a ton of iconic songs in the DKC series.

@@lordpickl9749 No, I don't think so. I think forgotten is more accurate. The fondness doesn't exist for it because it came out at an unfortunate time. The N64 was out in Japan and going to be out in a few months in NA. People were thinking about Mario 64, Donkey Kong didn't stand a chance.

I love the bosses in this game. Instead of a random bird who just particularly dislikes you today, it’s a hand made of fiery magma with an alive sword with a skull. Just shows how wacky the bosses got. ( in a good type of wacky.)

DKC2 was definitely the hardest, but it had less BS involved in its difficulty than DKC1 (which had too many blind jumps and the like). It still had some jank in the controls and just plain brutal platforming sections, which got smoothed out a lot by the 3rd game. Arguably the 3rd is the easiest, but it's still a solid challenge.

I always felt like dkc2 was actually the easiest of the trilogy. It’s still challenging by all means, But I feel like I find myself dying way more in 1 and 3. For 2, I feel the key to success is ignoring your instincts and just going for it. Usually that ends up working for me. Except the bramble levels. Dear god those can be painful.

Speaking of Wrinkly Kong's name, Cranky's real name is technically Donkey Kong Sr. (being the original DK pre DKC) although he transfered the name to his grandson, so Wrinkly might not be her original name when she was younger.

Okay, first off, Top Tier Bug? Moths. They are super super pretty and really cute when you zoom in on them. Secondly, that movie you were thinking of is Dante's Peak! My parents and I just watched that a few nights ago! Fairly good movie with Pierce Bronson. Though, yeah...that grandma was *incredibly* idiotic with her actions throughout the entire movie :P Also, *love love LOVE* this game so much! It's been fun watching your playthrough of it! Choctopus did you know that if you get every kong letters in all the level it’ll show a Dk sign next to it saying that world is kompleate. After that you need a total of 175 KING K ROLL coin from all bonus from all worlds to attend all the secret levels that klubba is guard after all that you get the secret final boss and get the 102% ending
