Another thing about dk is that high percentage=more forward grab time. Also you can go offstage at yeet the opponent at the blast zone... and somtimes make it back

Plus besides the side stage spike throw you can also carry them off the stage and give em a bear hug with down A that move keeps you suspended in the air and allows you to recover back to the stage from practically anywhere P.S. always have donkey Kong island swing playing in the background when using DK

Actually I bieleve donkey kongs new finale smash is actually based off of another dk bongo game on the gamecube. I forget the name of it but in the game there would be specific moments where when you fight big enemys or bosses you jump over to them and start bongoing like a madman. When you do donkey kong starts punching super fast. I bieleve this also accurse when you beat the level and have to touch the giant fruit

side effect of playing DK: Yelling BANNA SLAMMA after every spike you get

Down-B can also be useful to read rolls sometimes.
