I am a straight line, right angle kind of guy, so this theme is great for me. Love the prints too. One day, I'll get off my arse and start the skill. I don't subscribe to many channels, but I always enjoy yours.😁
Donna and Matt. Love watching your show. Am going to make your Disappearing Four patch because I have tons of kaffe fabrics already. By the way , I love Matt’s plaid shirts and when he gets tired of wearing wearing them he can send them to me to cut up for my stash...not kidding. He’s got good taste. My husband and I watch all the time.
I made a quilt similar this for my grandson, but used different sport fabrics and solids and all the same cut. I love that you changed up the cutting lines! Will have to make another one. I love your videos! Keep them coming. Love the log cabin block quilt, too.
Dear Donna Jordan, after 2 years and a bra.nd new sewing machine. I got brave enuf to make this Twist and Shout pattern. This is July 12, 2021. I love how you walked thru How to do this pattern and i followed oh so closely !! Really like this one. Thank you.
Donna - thank you so much for your wonderful videos. I have learned so much from you. Your tips have made such a difference in how my piecing has turned out. Just sent the Step Ladder Quilt out to the long armer. I laughed when each row went to together PERFECTLY!! I have never had a pattern piece exactly like that. I have been able to purchase blender fabrics from Jordan Fabrics with the great sales of late. I collected so much fabric while going back to school to finish a degree. On last count last year, I think I have over 250 jelly rolls. I am planning to make at least 10 Jelly Roll Race quilts for a chemo room at my mom's oncologist's office. I have been working non-stop on getting UFO projects done. I will upload some pictures soon. I have seen this pattern before, but your twist on it is genius!! I look forward to your emails everyday. I hope to see your store at quilt festival here in Houston this year. I have not gone in three years due to taking care of my mother, but have plans to buy a machine and of course more fabric.
Dear Donna, OMG!..... I think I have watched bout 4 different videos on how to make this same pattern. And this one is the only one that has clear instructions on how to make it. Thank you so much for your video and always being the great teacher that you are.
If I could give you a million thumbs up I would. I love, love, love this quilt because it gives the blocks an interesting look and I will not have to bother with those pesty HSTs. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world.
I just can’t say how much I appreciate you and your husband. You always get the creative vibes going. You are only 2 hours away. Sounds like a road trip 🤗 Yoo-hoo! Thanks again, see you soon. Robin Rodgers
Wonda Simpson I know, right! I have more fabric than I know what to do with. It does NOT stop me from buying more. (Ebay!). I may be a slight fabriholic! Lol
Hey! I just saw this video for the disappearing four patch baby quilt. I really like your presentation style: quick, to the point, informative. I am just a beginner quilter, but I do not need to watch instructors sewing. I just subscribed as I think this will help with my skills and give me ideas going forward. I am not much of a "block" person, I tend to like more of an improv style, but the skills and fundamentals you are showing are great. THANK YOU! I look forward to seeing your library.
Hi Donna, I learned to quilt when I was 12 or so from my elderly neighbor. I adored and miss her very much. I don't have the space to quilt now, but I love watching your videos, it really takes me back there. Thank you for that.
I like the way the design moves and the ease of assembling the finished blocks❣️ Unless it’s just my eyes but the blocks give the illusion of rounded corners as the design makes the eye travel. 👍
I love this pattern! It is a fast, fun & a very satisfying project. I have made it in red, white & blue fabrics from 'French General'. Although a vintage looking pattern, it can be as conservative, or as wild, as you want it to be! I made it with charm squares. It is a perfect quilt pattern for beginners. Thanks, Donna. LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS! Much Love, Lindsay, Sacramento.
Hi Donna, I watched this the other night, but watching it again. Your vids are so soothing... it is helping me relax as I wait out this tornado warning.
Beautiful! Disappearing four patch is one of my favorites. It is a good pattern when you want to highlight a beautiful print. Not having to match the seams is an added bonus. Thank you!
donna I started this quilt but I added a different twist to it, instead of using a 4 patch I did it with a 9 patch and cut the patches just a little differently. the end result was pleasing and as soon as I have it finished I will send you a picture of it. thanks for the ideas and for the videos I personally think they are great.
I am blown away by how helpful you are for me as a new quilter. We say ooh I love that but how much is the pattern since I still need to buy fabric for my small stash. Then not only do you walk us through the whole pattern, but its completely free too! My favorite quilting site😍
A beautiful result from a very clever variation to the simple four patch and disappearing four patch. The colour choices are great also. Many thanks, Jess
Donna I love your patterns, we use them for our outreach program. This pattern will work very nicely with all the donated fabrics that we receive from our guild members. Thank you so much!
What a beautiful quilt. I love all the fabric too. I am always amazed at how you match your seams, nesting them. No matter how hard I try I have to laboriously pin each one. Maybe someday...
I don't know why, but when I first saw this quilt, it made me think of drinking daiquiris and eating crawfish etoufee in New Orleans. I love those Kaffe Fassett fabrics! Laissez les bon temps rouler. (Let the good times roll!)
Can't thank you enough for all of the great tips, you have given me the inspiration to become yet another addicted quilter, starting this pattern today for my grandson. This newbie feels confident enough I can do it ! Thank you !
I thought it was so difficult to make fabric like that when i was in a store. Come to here and see how it looks like easy to make. Thank you jordan fabric for sharing the knowledge. Love from indonesia ❤
putri permata sari hi, If you live in or near Jakarta I can recommend SM Tama at STC Senayan, a small quilting shop, but they run a lot of classes and are really friendly and helpful. And say hi from me🤗
@@britschjelderup9540 hi 😀, Unfortunately it takes 4 hours drive from my city to Jakarta city, but i will try to visit it once if i am in Jakarta. Thanks for your info. 😊
Another beautiful quilt Donna! I hadn’t thought of mixing up the size of the center cuts. Excellent idea! I will definitely have to try this one! Hummmm, that might be number 1,273. I’ll get to it eventually. Lol
love, love this twist and shout version! I made a disappearing four patch Christmas table runner and trimmed the ends with prairie points - so cute! I loved watching you make the quilts and love your color choices - always so beautiful!
