What really got me was when Makyr Samur said "I offer you a gift. Take it, it will give you strength, help you on your journey" which is EXACTLY word for word what Samuel Hayden said to the Slayer in Doom 2016. This may be a connection between these two characters that we'll see in the DLC

Still going to miss that lone Marine I would love a DLC which takes place between Doom 64 and Doom 2016 a prequel to when the DoomGuy appeared to the Sentinel people. A much harder experience as you don’t have the powers seen in the main game while your weapons are designed after the classic ones from the original games

@@helpme4720 yeah I said it could go either way but in the end doomslayer has never defeated a planet level being which hulk is but hulk can't defeat the praetor armor so neither could kill the other but hulk would eventually get tired which doomguy can't get tired and hulk would eventually run out of energy and revert back to Bruce Banner and Doomslayer could kill Bruce instantly so if it was a short term battle with Doomslayer in praetor armor neither, if it was long term with Doomslayer in praetor armor then Doomslayer wins but if it was hulk vs no armor Doomslayer then hulk wins because hulk is pretty durable bullets would bounce off him and I'm pretty sure he can survive plasma as hulk could survive the intense heat which is the dangerous part in plasma as the impact would hurt hulk either as hulk has survived reentry from space so he could survive the heat and impact from plasma so if doomsu had armor Doomslayer would win if Doomslayer was without armor hulk would win.

And Doomguy fucking KILLED it without the Praetor Suit!! He was practically naked while fighting it!! Let's not forget that he has been fighting for literal Millennia before some Demons had to use SPECIALIZED RUNES AND A TEMPLE to keep him down!! And in DOOM 2016, when he was released, what did he do? *LITERALLY GOT UP AND STARTED SLAYIN' AGAIN LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED.* The Seraphim created an unrivalled and unparalleled engine of destruction that cares for mankind. Sparda is strong, don't get me wrong.... But he pales in comparison to the human who became a literal god.

@Irfan Alddin Doomslayer has infinite rage as well!! And Stamina plus unrivalled regeneration!! As long as he's fighting, the Unmaykr and BFG would literally DECIMATE Sparda in a fight because: BFG vaporizes all liquids in the body AT ONCE and causes the influx of energy to cause the enemy to LITERALLY VAPORIZE INTO NOTHING. No regenerative property would be able to save you. Unless Sparda's Sword can create flames that rivals twice the heat of the Sun and can sever the Seraphim's ingrained blessings, there's no way of harming him. Then there's the Unmaykr which empowers it's shots to the enemies Demonic Power and cancels their ability to recover! I mean, come on! Sparda = Demon!! And due to that, he would DIE.

james quinones I noticed that too, but I have a different take: the Doomslayer is the Father, or rather, has him on his bloodstream. The Seraphim is the one who took the Father away. The demons use the same nickname to refer to Samur, the Maykr that gave Doomguy "terrible power and speed".

I think that Samuel is the makyr that helped doom guy become the doom slayer and that Vega is what Samuel took when he left the other makyrs because he felt what they were doing was wrong. Just look how he talks about the soul taking process when we're at the tower place. (Didnt pay attention to names. Too busy staying alive)

I believe samur uncovered what argent energy was before the khan maykr did, instantly putting him at odds with her. He blesses doomguy, then heads to earth becoming samuel hayden to try to become a khan maykr in his own way by gifting argent energy to man

I think that hayden is the seraphim (samur mayker), the arc scientists even say that hayden's body is alien. i think hayden took vega from the maykers and vega used to be the father.

Here we go: 1. VEGA is The Father, The Father was stolen by the Seraphim, VEGA is an AI at a mars facility run by Hayden... 2. When the tech describes Hayden's robotic body, he says its "alien". When Hayden uploads his conscious to the fortress of Doom, VEGA says that the architecture is similar to his own (the fortress of doom being maykr tech). 3. The Seraphim's name is Samur Maykr... Samur Maykr = Samuel Hayden? 4. Hayden constantly speaks about the humans as "your people" to the Slayer... 5. Hayden says "isn't it magnificent?" when the Slayer arrives at Urdak. No mortal or demon has ever been in Urdak... 6. Hayden "assures" the Slayer that the whole soul-extracting to maintain the maykr race could have been avoided with different "leadership". 7. The Urdak facility voice welcomes the Slayer as the Seraphim, could it have sensed Hayden's conscious? 8. Its shown that Hayden needed the crucible to not only save the humans from an energy crisis, but to make sure they'd be technologically prepared for the incoming Hell invasion... 9. Hayden knows absolutely everything I'm 99% sure he is the Seraphim :)

@@toots3877 As much as I agree with the theory of Hayden being the Seraphim, the voice actor isn't viable. The Khan Makyr's voice actress is the same as one of the UAC scientists on the logs in Hayden's facility

I think there design is to make them truly unique compared to humans or humanoids, considering the sentinels are not necessarily human but a different race. I dont agree they are demonic tho tbh,.

Maybe they were originally from the same "race". I imagine that The Father made both of them and much like in christianity, those that went against him were cast into Hell as punishment. Though for me the biggest riddle is how the Makyrs overcame The Father, in game it says they used his spirit to comunicate and seek answers.

Not really. The arenas from quake 3 and champions are from a completely different dimension and are hosted by an alien race called Vadrigar. They host these fights and grant its gladiators perpetual resurrection as long as they are gladiators.
