One of these days, Taliesin will stop being selfish and actually dress up.

Having that robot mask for Matt and Darin on site to do the interactions in his morphed Hayden voice was amazing.

Anjali is giving 110% in this performance, she's so wonderful. I know that no one really "wins" DnD but I think she won this one,

For the demons it was the most terrifying day of their lives. For the Doomslayer it was a Monday.

Fun fact: Doom was inspired by DnD. Back when ID was just a few guys, they had company Dungeons and Dragons sessions. In one of those sessions, a horde of demons was released upon the world. They realized that this was the perfect premise for another shooter. Many of the enemies were based on DnD monsters. The most obvious is the Cacodemon, which was inspired by a beholder and the art was taken from the head of a Astral Dreadnought.

Mom: DnD?, isn't that the game about Demons and Hell, and people dress up in horrid black robes and make up? Me: NO, Mom! ... well... and yes...

The sweet irony of Doom being inspired by a D&D one shot means everything has finally come full circle.

Tone: serious Setting: doom party: somewhere on the evil spectrum also the party: selfie time~

Me: **clicks on video** *sees Matt wearing makeup and a cloak* “This is where the fun begins”.

I love how supportive this group of demons is. For folks who just met on this mission they’re really sweet to each other! Truly, a match made in Hell.

Fun fact: DOOM was originally inspired by a D&D session where demons invaded the world. The Cacodemon in the original doom has the same appearance as the face of a demon in original D&D

I love how Laura is basically just a pokemon. Somehow she made Mancubi cute.

I just know matt is excited through this all. One of the only games he gets to actively try and TPK all the players. lol.

I don't mind sponsored one-shots, especially when they're well executed. Was very enjoyable to listen to while working.

The image of an even Edgier Salsa dancing Marauder, a Painelemental using singing souls, an Archvile taking photos and selfies, a Saussy Dooting Revenant and a Mancubus screaming "MANCUBUS" is absolutetly HILARIOUS!! I hope they add some sort of easteregg of them in Doom Eternal later on

Out of all the props that could be in a doom eternal rpg, I wasn't expecting a Kazoo.

"i found a doctor" -he speaks in the infernal devils tongue, he then looks to his injured comrade motioning him closer as he then looks at the doctor. With a very guttural demonic common he says "fix" as he points to his injured friend

I flippin love Jasmine, she's incredible on R&R as well. I'd love to see her in the main campaign sometime. Also: leave it to Laura Bailey to turn a revolting mass of demonic flesh into the cinnamon bun we must protect.

I love how Sam checked on Laura to make sure she was not upset after her character died.

"FOR MANCUBUS" will be my ironic iconic battle yell for when I play Doom Eternal I will do a let's play of and my first ever let's play to boot.

I love how when the boss shows up, none of the players consider, even for a moment, standing up and fighting. Really reflects how the demons regard the Doom Slayer in-universe - even if they never actually run away in the actual game.

I love that they got Darin De Paul for this. He was so much fun as a guest star for Campaign 1 He's Dr. Samuel Hayden's voice actor for those who don't know. And he used to play DnD with Mathew Mercer's mom in the early 80s

Jester going undercover as Mancubus to infiltrate the demons (and taking it too far without the M9 as her brakes) is my new favourite headcanon.

Also, can we all just talk about how Matt had it set up so that when he spoke as a priest of Hell his voice literally came from all directions and was all encompassing!? That was awesome, just to see the reactions of everyone at the table if nothing else!

Laura's character is just plain cute, and Sam's character seems to fluctuate between goofball and psychopath. Anjali's demon voice is crazy good.
