@@thanosguy576 lmao yea but they person who got first was actually really good, they managed to play the violin blindfolded and upside down it was really cool
If you see a wall with the blue skull key texture on it the regular one is behind it and in order to find it you need to find a hallway where the floor is red liquid
"Warrens" is my favorite secret map in the first Doom game. The perfect revenge for having to kill two Cacodemons in the first map with just a pistol. Twice as hard once you get to the "exit", but twice as fun and rewarding too.
This one’s such a bop. Another reason why I prefer classic DOOM is the music. Sure the modern ones sound really hype and blood-pumping, but it’s not enough to be as memorable unlike the MIDI-classic songs. Especially fans who not only love the games, but also fans of heavy metal. Bobby Prince managed to please a wide crowd of heavy metal lovers when he released the soundtrack. Overall, MIDI is very fitting for DOOM imo. Hearing MIDI versions of Metallica, ACDC, Slayer etc. puts a smile to my face
Same here, the original _DOOM_ was inspired by so many kickass 80's things. Thrash metal, _Aliens_ , _Evil Dead II_ , D&D. The new _DOOM_ games, while not terrible by any means, thematically are too derivative of _DOOM_ itself without any meaningful new ideas of their own. It's why _DOOM_ will always drip with an unparalleled retro charm, while the new games will be likely forgotten in a decade or two.
I wonder if there's music like from the new doom games but with the classic music from old doom and the music from the new doom combined, or just music that has the old and new doom music combined or being balanced between old doom and new doom when it comes to the soundtrack.
I’ll never forget having a dream of doom itself- in some kind of dungeon dark as hell and minotaurs/ demons coming at me. Me just having a double barrel shorty and chainsaw.. I woke up sweating 😅
I had a childhood friend who always wanted to play this game but I always said no cuz I sucked really badly at it. I would eventually give in though - on the condition we only played levels that had this song so I could rock out and lose at the same time 😂
whenever i heard this it always was like the theme of berserk or chainsaw it always played in my head when i got berserk or the chainsaw or is it just me
PS3 player here, the soundtrack for the PS3 port of "Doom: Classic Complete" Isn't that bad, but it isn't as enjoyable as the original SC-55, but the Classic Complete's version of "Hiding The Secrets" has the hardest-hitting version of the track I have heard.
