@tamarah8092 that's you. I have seen so many get deactivated. It doesn't matter what DD says the reasoning is, I believe it's because of AR . They are not exactly an honest company.
I don't mind having to take a selfie, as long as it doesn't mess up and lock my account. I'm a dasher, but I'm also a customer and I've noticed many times that the dasher that the person delivering my food probably isn't the person listed in the app. Yeah, I know sometimes couples dash together, but I have a feeling a lot of people are using multiple drivers on a single account. We need to get rid of those people. It's not fair to the rest of us that follow the rules.
Doordash should have cracked the whip a long time ago. Consumer confidence in the platform is greatly diminished because of unprofessional Dashers like Pedro. But hey, they get what they pay for. When you dont pay people, they dont take you seriously.
They have increased the base pay its called earn by time. You have a choice $2 base pay and opportunity for a big tip or fair base pay and be prioritized for lower or no tip orders with the opportunity for access to higher tips occasionally. Earn By Offer pay will never go up and will continue to go down until it reaches $1.00. It’s the penalty box for the Earn By Time program and once the EBT/EBO markets reach maturity EBT will be the only way to have a chance to make consistent money while the EBO will be a gamble. Some days will be huge while a majority will be tough and difficult. Best thing to do is to get yourself active on multiple apps so you have as many options as possible and make door dash a smaller part of your appfolio.
Doordash has over 6 million registered active couriers.... how would you know they are reactive? You do not have metrics, you are not in the meetings, it's just lazy assumptions.

So we don't play with nonsense. But when things are over saturated. I guess you can just disregard people as trash. And hire more.

I feel like the article is more to do with the Safe Driving Feature that the have in the app now… it’s showing that you brake too hard or accelerate too quick
i quit dashing in January. Got myself a career job. No more running my car into the ground for pennies. DoorDash is NOT worth it folks... though i would say do it until you find a real job.

Has somebody who has watched your videos my man I'm pretty sure you got kicked off the app for the way you talk to customer service. Somebody call up to me like the way you talk to some of those customer service people your account would be flagged in a heartbeat.
With the new program I have noticed a lot less DoorDash drivers it’s hard to keep a 50-70% AR. If you don’t have atleast a 50% AR you can’t schedule anymore basically. Told my family this is the last summer/winter I do DD regardless it was a nice run. Let the migrants fight over 6 dollar orders im good.
Axios is reporting that doordash is cracking down on account sharing and traffic violations. The doordash news page statement specifically said they are running a pilot in Boston for law enforcement to have a dedicated escalation channel to report things like reckless driving of dashers. This all seems very reasonable. They are also increasing the frequency of driver identity checks, specifically for accounts that showing signs of account sharing (like multiple phones connecting, or two phones logged in at the same time, etc.) Again, very reasonable.
We all signed up for these apps knowing we have to follow their guidelines and get deactivated if we don't. But the difference from a w2 we could work our shift whenever we wanted. So if their terms no longer meet your standards, then leave

They provide the platform and we choose to work it, or not. No one cares about their business with low pay offers when they decline them but get upset that they don't care about them. Customers want good service. You don't have to accept orders you don't want to do. Treat every order regardless of the money the same. You'll make money on the app. BTW you get rated for a reason.

So if your account as a Dasher says Nicole and when your driver arrives and go to the wrong door and apparently they're a 20 something year old man...that's a problem. Having a customer call you and say hey if you don't eat any of my food before you get it to me I'll give you an extra tip. That too, is a problem. I am a believer that there are dashers out there that shouldn't be.
I feel like the only non-immigrant in my area doing DD or Ubereats. It's a huge problem and probably why they get away with $2 orders, these immigrants take everything.
A lot of these $2 orders will bounce around for a while until they go up in value and somebody is desperate enough to accept or often they will eventually be accepted by somebody on a bike who doesn’t have to worry about maintenance or gas. that’s why you’ll often notice the orders pay more when it rains. The guys who are accepting these trash orders they will never be deactivated 😂 they are DoorDash’s best workers. No Visa ? No worries 👌

I'm tired of all these deactivation threats by Doordash. I feel like I can't move without them penalizing me, or punishing me, or deactivating me. I feel anxiety when I work Doordash.
Your not alone..the door dash app,tells me I braked hard 11 times,excellerated 21 times,when I only did 3 deliveries..it was bullishit. Than when I had a long day dashing knowing I braked hard,or excellerated plenty of times bc it was busy with traffic,and a weekend..but I had no excellerated or hard braking at the end on the app..so something is wrong..very flawed,seems like they plan on using it against us in near future..to get rid of who they want..

I don't have a problem with doordash I get up every day early in the morning start my day reach my goals clock out do it again tomorrow the difference is you got people out here handling their business and not trying to make content not saying anything is wrong but if your focus on your grind you're going to make your money most of these content creators are not out here in the field like that they may go out one or two times out the week record a couple of the videos like they're really out here working and when things don't go their way they talk bad about it you're not putting in the work these guys want a 100,000 subscribers I want a 100,000 in cash best 300.00 a day

I’m glad they’re doing this. I’ve always had a 5.0 customer rating and 100% completion rate. My acceptance rate is low but I’m a quality driver. I hope they continue to do more of this. Quality drivers over quantity.

I’m not concerned about it because I know i don’t do anything wrong, I obey the tos , I very rarely decline any offer except for yesterday after being out 6 hours i declined 4 $3 offers in a row so before getting my 4th $3 offer I just ended my dash .

All I see is immigrants delivering on most platforms in Florida. They are rude and disrespectful to the merchant. Showing phones in people's face is unacceptable. I deliver with both apps but some of these drivers make it hard when they can't follow instructions because they can't read or speak English. I don't have a problem with people from other countries working and making a living but they should be respectful and be held to the same standards that i am.
Though most typical drivers don't have the time/money to pursue suing DD, most of what DD is tantamount to slander against the driver. They are propagating untrue things done by drivers which have actual damages.
They need to frankly there is a lot of shit drivers that has flooded my area and all I get is complaints from people about other drivers. Frankly they need to cut out some of these people. When you've got 10 drivers sitting around at 1 place fpr food. and I'm waiting 15 minutes to get an order we have way too many drivers and not enough orders. There are a lot of crappy drivers in my area. I see many pick orders off the shelves and dont confirm when that are at the restaurant. I get complaints from merchants that so many dashers come in for the same order after it was apparently picked up. I once went to the same restaurant and the hostess told me the customer that i came in for earlier in the day never got her burger. I even see restaurant employees argue with other dashers over stuff. DoorDash is king in my area so I stick to it. Thanks again Pedro, you rock.

They deactivated my account because a while back. I had a driving with suspended registration. Even though it wasn't something I got convicted for and I did have a valid registration. It was because New York requires insurance. My state does not require insurance, so they deactivated me because of that. But hey, that's why you always keep two accounts in the back pocket

DoorDash needs to verify it's drivers for the safety of it's business interest but also for the customers. Taking a selfie is fine with me I already do it for Uber. I need to see them do something with these ridiculous customer accounts out there causing problems, stealing food, and making trouble for the DD and the driver.
I've never had to fill a drink cup; but if a driver is too dam lazy to do that; they deserve to be deactivated. I made top dasher status for July; I deliver the food the way I'd expect to get it if I had ordered. I do think that I have to deliver some of the no tip offers; at only $2 base pay; decline to many & you're going to fall below the percentage to get deactivated. Due to something beyond my control; I was more or less forced to start collecting my retirement social security this month. I need to supplement that with doordash; so I'm delivering a lot more lately. If I can find a different actual part time job; I'll go back to only dashing for the spare money, occasionally.
I have delivered a few empty cups. Doordash tried to give me grief for it too until I showed them in the driver terms/contract they made us sign where it tells us NOT to fill the cup, that the merchant has too.
in the winter I do ubereats and DD in my big plow truck, is it a great on gas, nope, but every delivery I make to a unplowed driveway I ask the customer if they want their driveway plowed real quick and that little 2 dollar a mile drop just turned into a easy payday.
I get contract violation as soon as I get rid of 1, I think dd is fishin" for a reason. I can't grip my thoughts around people stealing food on the way to the customer. I treat it as a job, I do as expected pick up, drop off, repeat. This works for me I can't stand to eat fast food. I have seen on where it says on the app before pick up "do not open bag" makes me wonder what type of people have done this.
While I'm in the store doing shopping for my shop and pay, zooming through the store. My phone will say, "hard stop detected". At first it was just a funny haha. I must be walking too fast. Now, I think I might to address this with support. :(
This morning I took a note order just to myself busy and moving and when I got there, I let the customer know it wasn’t ready. Within two minutes she was asking me wasn’t ready yet. It’s like you can’t even make this crap up. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. This is what it bothered to get me whoever was going to pick up her order not even a damn dollar on a like $50 order from McDonald’s But she’s willing to rush me Don’t take no tip orders because it’s a waste of damn time and those are the ones playing on you about to get because a minor is convenient to them. The reason they can deactivate you is because it literally is in their business plan for doordashers to cycle in and out... not long time dashers. They consider Dashers as a risk duh.

What they need to crack down on is the low base pay and actually give fair earnings to the drivers making them money. Platinum is their latest scheme to get trash orders out and make doing deliveries look attractive, when all it is offering low paying offers among trash no tip orders and you end up making less then minimume wage an hour in some areas. Oh but the mileage is good for most of the deliveries, yeah whatever 🙄
Bottom line is DD SUCKS!! I watch your dude in GA..who is a "Top Dasher" get diamond, High pay offers...$4.50 for 2.5 or 3.5 miles. Ain't getting outta my car for that! Really only thing good about them is they make it harder for rotten customers to tip bait you!
