I'm guilty of it too. lol When I ran the Berlin Marathon, I definitely was eating things that I didn't normally eat leading up to race day and my stomach was a mess halfway through. Learned my lesson though! lol
I would definitely recommend looking into Vacation Races. I've done two races with them, and am about to do another 50 Miler (Antelope Canyon) with them next year. They do all distances, which is about anything from a 5k to 100 miler. I would also recommend looking into ultrasignup.com to see races around the U.S.
This video made me feel so much better! I'll also be running the Goofy. More nervous about the rain possibility on Saturday for the half because I don't want wet shoes, but Florida weather changes with a snap of a finger. Fingers crossed! I've also been watching your marathon video from last year and it's definitely giving me Disney magic feels! Have a great Goofy race!
@@passporttorun It was amazing! I was sad we weren’t able to run the full half but I was nervous about being sore for the full and going to fast. So it was kind of a blessing in disguise. The full was amazing! Definitely hit a mental block at Blizzard beach parking lot, but once my mom and I stopped for Elsa and Anna, I got the mojo back to finish strong! I hope you had a great race at Disney World and Disney Land!
