I lightly bake my dumpling pieces so that they wont be gummy after baking the pie.It’s like having pieces of pie crusts throughout! My favorite desert.

my canned has NEVER gotten mushy and I turn heat down and thick glaze and also a lil juiceiness hummm is wonderful. just loving your recipe! I do love it sweet! just made 2 but always love getting new ideas from bakers my fav dessert is peach cobbler

We use the same ingredients I don’t use rum but I put dumplings all over I do the top and bottom crust sprinkle sugar with cinnamon a nutmeg all over the top dot with butter and bake I know yours is good 🙏🏼😇👍👌💯🌹
Beautiful! I do make a double crust and if I make the lattice, I cheat! 😌😌 I never thought to put the extra dough into the cobbler as little dumplings! I will definitely do that the next time. Thanks again for another AMAZING recipe!
I love dewberry pie but we can no longer find them so we use blackberries. The cobbler that I eat the most is Peach cobbler. My grandmother always makes extra crust on the side and so I also make extra crust on the side because just like my grandma I love the extra crispy crust.
You the only one I seen do that put the little dough pieces inside the peaches I love it and the way you do it you the only one I seen don’t cook peaches on top,of stove your recipe is so unique remind me of my mom she likes lot of crust and she like the double crust

Yes, your grandmother is correct there are definitely differences. Cobblers are traditionally with dollops of dough. I grew up calling my mother’s recipe a cobbler so that’s what I call it. Thanks for leaving a comment and for watching. 🌸
