@Holly-ys1me
@Holly-ys1me Год назад
What happens when D moves out like N did? The poor puppy gets left behind and neglected. Puppy mill dogs are a bad idea. Pure bred puppies from a puppy mill are most likely too close in genetics so it will have health problems. Vet bills can be expensive in this case. When an animal is purchased as a gift, there is a good chance that the animal will not like or get along with the person it was given to. In these cases, there is a string chance that the poor animal will either be dumped or abandoned at some rural property and end up at an animal shelter on a euthanize list. I live rural and people dump unwanted pets at my place all the time. Growing up, once a month my dad would visit the animal shelter and get the animals on the euthanize list for a foster arrangement and we would be taught to care for them and find homes for them. Do Not shop the puppy mills as those poor dogs are exploited for profit. Adopt from the animal shelter. Take time to get to know the animal and make an informed choice before you bring it home. Be prepared for the vet bills including spaying or neutering. Have some arrangement in place in case the pet adoption does not work out.

I think some rescues make it very hard to adopt. Some of them are harder then if you were adopting children. Then you get the ones that don't want the dog outside at all except to go to the bathroom and walk. I am sorry but if I am adopting an outside dog like a great Pyrenees he isn't going to want to be inside all the time. Mine was raised inside until about 6 months old . Then he decided it was better outside.

I am also pro PB, but agreed that they need even more work to avoid a bad rep. People with small dogs don’t take time to train them bc it’s “cute” when they’re jumping up on you and pulling. I agree that D can’t even take care of himself let alone a dog. I said I was up 3 months alone crate training my puppy and I’m 36! I underestimated the energy of a lab puppy but put my life into training him. He goes to day care and eats better than I do. We walk all the time. He’s saved me dealing w infertility. I had been expecting when I got him, and it was a bad idea in hindsight. But I ended up losing the baby, so he’s saved me, and I was happy and willing to put in the work so he could have an amazing life. If you’re not committed to training, don’t bother with a dog. The number of dogs returned to shelters after Christmas is disgusting. Dogs as presents are never good ideas- but she should’ve gotten him a small dog if she absolutely HAD to get him a dog 🙄 bc you know that dog won’t be trained. A pit Bull is the worst idea for this family and for a kid. All the time needs to be spent w D as the alpha, as Josh said. And it will never. Even at 13 I got a puppy as a bday present but xovered my room in trash bags and was up all nite w that dog. In the snow w sxhool in the morning. My parents still watched her during school. But also handed me a puppy training book and said “Good luck. She better be well trained.”

@@traciprovins3221 after all the incidents I’ve seen around me my whole life with pits, I’m too scared to get one. But that is the worst idea ever with a family that big, with any dog but especially a high demand one. My fil decided to get us a registered German shepherd puppy last year, for my two toddlers. I only had TWO kids and adding a gs to the mix was hard enough with the two of them. Chasing toddlers, training a puppy. No way I could’ve done it with that many kids. Now I’m ab to have baby number 3, dog is fully trained but he’s still a lot of responsibility. She’s gotta be the most neglectful person I’ve ever seen. I feel so bad for that dog

These dogs need a shit ton of training, stimulation and care that she cannot provide them. Heartbreaking.

I work w dogs, and if she absolutely needed 🙄to get D a dog- get him a fully grown small dog bc they are doing a disservice to pit bulls. Pit bulls need to be w their one person consistently, the alpha like Josh said. They need a lot of work. At least small dogs, although it’s not right, get away with not being trained bc it’s “cute” when they jump or or pull. It’s not the same w big dogs and especially pit bulls. There aren’t bad dogs. There are bad owners. Sorry I went on a rant lol but the first 2 dogs are already untrained and I’m sure neglected in terms of exercise and interaction. Miracle? My aunt and uncle fed their 2 children very similarly to this. At 2 years old they had soda in the sippy cups. They never drank anything else. No milk and never water. They were allowed to eat whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. They always had dozens of bags of chips and would have an entire small cake to themselves at birthdays. I remember my parents not allowing me to stay the night there often because soda and snacks were “special occasion” things. Fast forward to today and they are 30 and 32 and severely obese. Each around 400 pounds. One can barely walk. They both have diabetes. They still continue to eat like this because it’s all they know. It makes me sad to see because you never want to see your family go through something like this. Watching Alicia is hard for me because of this. I hope these kids futures aren’t affected because of the eating habits she’s instilling in them. When you become a parent, however that is, it’s your responsibility to take care of your child but also teach them how to take care of themselves.

I feel like I need to correct some misinformation as someone who shows/trains dogs. 1. It’s not “all in how you raise them”. Genetics play a HUGE role in dog behavior, and at times no amount of training can overcome the genetic predisposition to certain behaviors. Training is very important, but sometimes it’s not enough. 2. Dominance theory (the need to be “alpha”) has been disproven. Dogs don’t operate like that and it is not a great way to approach training. I agree that this is not a great situation to bring a new dog into. Kids should never be the primary caregiver for animals, it’s setting the situation up for failure. ❤❤

I was up for 3 months w no sleep with my puppy crate training him. It was so hard training him alone. While expecting a baby alone. Looking back it was a bad idea. But I ended up miscarrying at 12 weeks. And my puppy is now almost 2, well-trained, goes to doggy day care, eats better than I do, and saves me every day while I deal w infertility. He’s the black lab I’ve always wanted, but I put my entire life besides work into him for his first year. I took him on a birthday trip for his first birthday. And at not fault to her kids, cause they don’t know better, but they are not going to do shit to take care of this dog!

Yes I agree. Now I do wonder if the puppy is from a breeder at least, so less risk of bad bloodlines. I'm torn. As much as I understand so many lovable pitties are at shelters, I would not trust her with a refuse dog. Getting a rescue puppy has less risk or having behavioral issues. But I know what you are saying. They are the most common breed in shelters unfortunately. But regardless if one of one of the teens wanted the puppy, this family does not have the time but more improvement the discipline needed in raising a puppy. As a rescue Mommy myself, I understand how much time and commitment is needed. Especially for rescue and having the time required to rebuild trust in the animal. But their energy is very high and when we rescued our, he was coming from a home with young kids who were high energy as well and just amped him up. As much as I want to shame breeding, I do understand going to a registered breeder due to bloodline issues in the province I live in. I also wanted to point out that we advocates for the breed also talk about how lovely family dogs they can be, in the proper environment. Unfortunately I hate to say it, but she would end up being the bad owners that we shame giving the breed a bad name because she wouldn't give that rescue the love and training it would need. Look at how she parents her kids. She tries to buy their love. Buying a shelter dog every bone and toy and pet in the store, wouldn't help if that dog had developed a protective nature around toys or bones because all shelters share the wide range of donations. So I could see a worse situation occur with a grown rescue because it too would be coming into the house with trauma. She already struggles to provide for the needs of her children with trauma, she wouldn't take the time and work needed to ensure a safe and happy home. I do truly wonder if she went to local reputable shelters and was turned down. They do home visits to see the house they will be living in. My guess is regardless of how many social media videos she tried to crame down their throats, the shelter stood their ground and told her it wasn't an appropriate fit. Not likely just for that breed but really any shelter dog. But especially that breed when there are already so many negative news stories reported. Sorry I know this was an old comment. But I just wanted to put my 2 cents in too.

Pit bulls are actually really sweet dogs. They can be aggressive, but it’s all a matter of how they’re treated by their breeders and/or owners. They do have a dangerous hold with their jaw but again it’s all a matter of how they’re treated. Lush can’t take care of her kids yet alone the two dogs she already has, one of them I believe is a therapy dog for James since he’s the only human Miracle trusts. But we know she bribes the kids and now that N has left she might be fighting harder to keep the other kids, especially since she has full custody of D, which is sad that he didn’t go with his sister

All dogs need training , as I’m sure you know, lots and lots of training. Now add even more so if it’s a pittie. Ideally well trained dogs are also socialized with many things from a young age. Chickens, cats, kids…in the proper manner. All things that take time and lots of effort. And no one has even mentioned simple potty training. She won’t let kids put tooth paste on tooth brushes but yet they are going to do all of that? Yeah , right. That cute puppy is going to grow to a nice sized powerful animal that can reek havoc on the house, kids and other animals. Hopefully she rehomes the poor thing after she gets her fill of clicks and views out of it. I’m very passionate about this subject because yrs ago my 8 yr old was severely mauled by a neighbors poorly raised and abused Australian Shepherd.

@@mszuzubookitty4646 I completely agree that all dogs require training, as well as lots of love and understanding. Pitties aren’t usually family dogs so he will be overwhelmed by the eleven kids running around screaming and Lush looking like a demented scarecrow. I am so sorry about your son, it was wrong of your neighbor to not properly train their dogs. Children need to be taught how to be gentle as well, but it’s a two way street and if a dog cannot be taught to be gentle themselves there’s no chance. Of course Lush doesn’t have the time and the kids certainly don’t. Josh probably has no idea she bought a puppy since he’s checked out and she’s the one in charge with the credit card. I’m scared for the kids, not just for their bad diet and lack of care, but the danger if they don’t train the dog properly. Dogs can only behave well if they’re trained, it doesn’t always come naturally

Kid spent a few days in hospital after having a specialist be called for care. No one in the hospital knew how to deal with his injuries. So yeah, proper dog training is serious subject for my family and she scares me with what she’s setting up. Those little ones won’t stand a chance against a full grown dog. That’s the funny part. I have a German Shepherd that came from an abusive situation and despite training attempts he barks at anyone or anything that gets close. We have issues sometimes with owners that decide to test their dogs’ training by bringing them right up to us, to the point that we’ll be leaving and they’ll be following us. It has happened with all sorts of breeds but the times that it got dangerous wasn’t with a pit. He’s been bitten in the face twice now, once by a chihuahua and the other by a poodle. Other dogs just ignore his barking, that includes a neighbor’s pitbull mix that (though it makes me anxious due to a past experience) my dog is actually calm and comfortable around, so we go on walks together sometimes. When my dog sees that dog, instead of barking, he cries because he wants to go say hi. She’s a super gentle old lady pit.

They used to have an ice cream shop on the edge of the ghetto neighborhood that I grew up in. They made the best chocolate ice cream cone with wheat germ and a few sprinkles. My little sister loved them. When I had extra money in my budget I took little sister to get ice cream. Yeah, I took care of little sister after our dad developed heart problems.

My family used to go overboard on birthdays and Christmases and when I first became a mom I felt so much pressure to do the same for my kids. And I didn't like it. We have scaled back so much and have had family members do the same, not only because it's unnecessary and was burning a hole in my pocket, not only because I didn't want my kids to be spoiled brats, but also because I didn't want my kids feeling the same expectations I did when they are older to spend dumb amounts of money on birthdays and Christmases. And honestly it's one of the best decisions I've made as a parent. She is setting them up for failure in so many ways. Not only are they going to expect this amount of stuff every year, when they are the adults and possibly parents, if they can't do the same, they will feel guilt.

I agree. I don't ever have to buy my kids gifts bcuz my entire family spoils them to death so I don't get bday ,Christmas or anything else . Once in awhile they ask for something they want and they get it but I've also had my family scale back . Also it's nowhere as crazy as this. I honestly dont think the Kardashians kids get gifts nonstop like this & the food is just unbelievable & disgusting. She needs to donate half of that crap before ut expires. She's a maniac . This is not normal & she needs to be investigated.

Is Bohdi the one that got the shaft on his birthday last year?

I used to watch this family vlog channel all the time two years ago but as time went on I was just floored at the grocery bills and stuff like that. Watching her nowadays just makes me wanna up my intake of healthy foods and water consumption.

Bodhi better be having a birthday party with a bunch of his friends there.

I doubt it. Little D has a birthday near the Dad's and he just got his name scribbled on a small corner of the cake. It was not as fancy as the other children's as he didn't even get his own cake or a party. Alicia's biological children get short changed.

We took in a Pit mix when someone gave her up. We got her at 8 weeks and she's 10 months now. We had no idea pitties were so high energy. It takes lots of exercise and training multiple times a day. It's pretty constant even at 10 months. I feel for that poor dog. Hopefully, it's already spayed or neutered or will be soon.

My girl is half pit half black lab and we have to play soccer with her multiple times a day. She only like her soccer ball and doing headers.

@@ashleyramirez4819 Maddie is half pitbull as well with some staffy. She loves her soccer ball and loves to chase a laser light. Yes, many times a day. Get that energy out!

Never give a dog as a gift. This should be well thought out and everyone should agree. A dog should be part of the family for 10-15 years. It's not like when Lush is in the store to buy little bites. Never ever buy an animal on a whim. The poor dog is probably locked in a crate most of the time💔Do you think D gets up in the middle of the night to walk it? He's probably fed up with the dog already. I hope the puppy chews on everything in that hell hole

I’m pro Pit as well.. but that household does not need a Pit. She needs to find a dog trainer ASAP.

It's crazy to me how big the size of everything is. Here in Italy ( the home of Kinder Ferrero ) the max box of kinder eggs that you can buy is a packed of three. Also the nutella and breadsticks thing can only be bought singularly. Buying a high energy dog for a teenager is a really really bad idea. In the end he will be neglected and develop behavioural issues and they will get rid of him claiming he's a threat to children and make even more money on this sad story
