are used to watch her just a few years ago and I had to cut it out because I didn’t like her parenting style and I always thought she was so cold to her children like you never saw him be loving and touching and hugging. Ruby sucks then I was started watching her sister Bonnie and I really had to quit watching her. She’s a freaking control freak. In defense of buying school supplies once the school year has started 🤢 … once you’re in high school, you don’t get the supply list in advance. For the most part you can buy basic supplies for your classes, but there’s always that one teacher that wants to to have very specific items. (at least that’s how it was at my highschool)

Josh, you are correct about kids & soda! I worked for a Chiropractor (into nutrition) that said soda has phosphoric acid changes the calcium/phosphorus ratio. Hey if it dissolves teeth, it couldn't be good for growing bones! Kid do not need it (maybe a rare occasion).

The high school my kids went to they didn't get their full supply list till the second day of school, block scheduling with half the classes one day and the other half the second day. I always just shopped the sales though and held onto my receipt. I don't understand how someone with such a large family is so unorganized!

We're not given a list for anything for school thankfully (Ireland). Everything is provided (copies/books/glue) and the children get them when they go into school. In my children's school we pay the school for book rental and then an extra fee for the art/photocopying etc so we don't have to go get anything, it's great

Same in Australia here, so expensive. I said 350. If I get out of a shop with 1 bag of groceries being less than 60 dollars I'm do excited. It costs an insane amount just to top up on fruit and bread. Simple bread even is like 4.50. If you buy the cheap 80cent loaves they're dry as hell on the edges and smaller.

The only thing I ever used marshmallows for was teaching my son to pee in the toilet 😂. We'd get those tiny mini ones. He'd take one and drop it in the toilet then stand on his little stool and had to aim for the marshmallow. It then just flushed away. Was great for potty training as he'd want to go to do the marshmallow aim game.

reusable straws are actually the best ones to use , you rinse it right after use and it’s easy to clean , they are less likely to split or disintegrate, if you have a straw chewer they are less likely to cut their mouths , chip etc , and it’s good for the environment! i love reusable straws

I grew up on margarin and now I’m 42 and after I moved out at 20 I started using butter for baking so…I would use it on my food and I can’t stand margarin now. When I go to my parents if they invite us for dinner I have to take my own butter bc I know they only use margarin. 😂

I must be a bit weird , I don't like either , makes it a bit of a nuisance if I fancy a sandwich whilst out ,--my mum and sister loved butter ,I always used to say "are you having toast with your butter " because they heaped it on , !

Some restaurants have individually wrapped plastic straws for kids. I always ask for extra and carry them in my purse and truck 😂

I really think (my non doctor opinion) she needs some kind of rehab for her medication intake. It may be all prescribed to her that she takes but I have seen a lot of people ‘on pills’ and that is how she acts & talks. With 11 kids, it’s dangerous & she’s making the kids grow up to be dependent on all the medication as well.

We get additional lists from each teacher when school starts, especially in the middle and high schools. There are always things we have to buy even after school starts. I’m a 60s kid so all we had to buy back then was 3 ring binder, pencils, pens loose leaf paper and notebook dividers.

Josh, Alicia picked up scallions also called green onions , shallots are small onions without the stem like a purple colour, spring onions are similar to scallions but with a bigger white bulb , but who cares they pretty much have a very similar taste 😊

My entire life my mom would buy folders, pencils, notebooks, etc the basics as the back to school sales went on that way we had what we needed. There was RARELY ever something weird we didn't have and actually needed. School supply list are a scam.

Josh - Check for Amish butter rolls in the grocery stores in your area. I know they're available in some stores in the states, but not certain about Canada. I do buy both margarine and butter. The latter is primarily used in cooking and baking. because the margarine spreads just don't cut it as they have more water content than butter.
