She’s the type of woman to walk into a restaurant at 6:30 at expect them to have room for 17 ppl then gets mad that we don’t have the room bc she didn’t call ahead.
I doubt it. My entire ymca group like 20 kids 5-12 all going to the movies we all got a popcorn and soda (mind you it was like 20 years ago) and we didnt make a mess from what I remember. Her kids arent terrible just she is
I used to work at Target, and i worked with the clothes. One person can come through and make a mess that'll take like 10 hours clean in like 10 minutes. I've seen the videos of her shopping for clothes with the kids, and they all including her tear the tables up. If i worked there, i would've been fed up with it. No consideration for anyone from her and now her kids since she doesn't teach them manners.
Hence why I always try to endeavour to be polite and courteous to retail staff. They are humans too with feelings. I always wondered how mental health is in that industry?
Also she just googled exploitation and not child exploitation there’s a bit of a difference and if she would have googled child exploitation she would have seen the part where it says using kids for financial gain
My heart goes out to James. He has such a good heart, and I hear him lots of times saying tanks for things he got. I feel sorry for him because it is a child that must get extra love because I can see that he is not feeling good about himself.
You can see it in his body language and his words, that man gets ZERO respect in that house. Wanna see a man's confidence level? Watch his shoulders. Watch his eyes. I'm telling y'all, that man is not well.
@@Aznna not in my house 😂 not to yuck anyones yum but.. it’s not very “dinnery” lol not that Lush cares, I’m sure she just grabbed it from the shelf and said “that’ll do!”
@@faithelizabethphotog I agree. Not a dinner food. MAYBE with pork chops on 80s night? I honestly don't see why there would need to be fruit included in dinner. Maybe dessert!
These influencers will call going to the movies “work” when someone comes at them for not working but when they point out that their kids are actually working as well, they will say it’s not work. It can’t be both!
As someone who worked at the movies I can confirm having huge groups of people come and order so many things (especially on busy weekends) was horrible and overwhelming asf and made everyone working absolutely miserable (Lots of tears were shed bc of ppl like this, and not just from me).
Shut up Barb! All she’s saying is have a little respect and maybe call ahead to the establishment your going to and give them a heads up that you will be attending their business and give them time to be ready for your arrival so that you, other customers, and the employees all have a good time. Thanks Management 🤣 Quit be so disrespectful Barb! Just because it’s here job doesn’t mean she should have to deal with horrible people like you and Alisha!
@barb yes they get paid but it’s still overwhelming to have huge orders sprung on you. There’s a flow to the system, and this disrupted it for the movie workers. They also would have to rush making more pop corn for the huge line probably built up behind people like Alicia too. It’s stressful, and they don’t get paid nearly enough to put up with selfish people. Retail workers are people too. Managers are likely to be extra hard on employees as well, and most of these workers in retail are, in fact, teenagers or college aged people. I wouldn’t want my child’s first job have people feel it’s ok to disrespect them like that. I worked retail in high school. Fast food. It makes you feel like dirt.
I hear that. We are a family of six, and we didn't finish one large popcorn either watching Mario. Granted, we did have other snacks, but still, I don't think we ever finish one.
Amateurs LOL I'm playing. I love popcorn especially movie popcorn. My husband took us to see Guardians of the Galaxy on mother's day and I ate a whole thing of popcorn by myself 😂😂 I did skip lunch, in my defense....
Who else loved the sentence "where's Josh out in the woods sniffing his nuts?!" This needs to be made into a t-shirt or mug definitely my quote of the week.
The Amish building comment she made - there’s no way it took the Amish over a year to build those dressers…lol. I grew up in Amish country & they could build all 12 of them within a day or two. 😂
20 water bottles at a theater is going to cost $400! As a bartender/service industry person..... she def should’ve called ahead so they could’ve prepped prior to their arrival!! I really hope she watches this and takes Josh’s advice. Working at the theater is already a crappy job...she could’ve at least made the order easier but nope! She has to screw over the poor workers! She could’ve at least handed the worker a $100 bill as a thank you.
If she would've called ahead they could've had everything ready, had seats marked off for them, the staff could've made it a calm, drama free experie-- wait. Never mind. That doesn't make attention grabbing content, so that's not something she would want to do.
@@cherylmayers5394 saying she did something and doing are very different things… I could say I met the queen of England before she passed… doesn’t mean I DID.
As a middle child whose older brother and younger sister both had ADHD, this is correct. I was quiet and shy and kept to myself. They were wild and out of control.
I grew up in a house with no healthy habits. And as an adult its been a struggle to learn things. Ive lost all my teeth from never being told or shown how to take care of them and being fed the same shit her kids get. And now im spending all my money to get new teeth. I was the dirty kid and man it was traumatic. I feel for those kids.
I find it funny that MadMama was talking about Alicia and the Dougherty. But Alicia just referred to her as a “friend”, without saying the name of the channel.
** palm to forehead ** she just doesn't get it. Poor excuse for a parent and even worse as a role model. She is raising our future, and it's so f@cking scary!
Well it wasn’t her kid who spit in it so what was she supposed to do? I‘m not defending Alicia usually but that was an uncomfortable laugh. She doesn’t seem like the person to discipline somebody else‘s kid let alone her own.
Nana and Pop-pop are Josh's parents, right? I'm almost inclined to believe that they come around so often because they're wanting to make sure he's okay, assuming that he vents to them about being The Dougherty Dozen.
Poor Tyler at the movie theater, he’s having a day because of the damn Dougherty’s. He totally called in the next day, completely deserved after that disaster.
Her arrogance and smug face when she is filming herself ordering the popcorn, the poor staff must have hated her. Her attitude and never saying thank you or please, her attitude sinks.
I'm surprised she didnt get the kids the little kid pack most theatres have. It's like a small popcorn, small drink, and small candy... That's plenty for a kid. They don't need those gallon buckets!
I bet Alicia only got those enormous popcorns because she knew they would look good in her video. Kid packs might have looked good too, but they wouldn’t have “popped”.
Spoiling the kids is one thing but wasting food just makes me mad, do we really have to mention again that theres people in the world who didnt eat in days because they dont have food or money, it’s so infuriating
Yes! And also the little kids packs are more fun for kids! I would still prefer one of those to a regular popcorn and drink even though is an adult lol. They give a little box holder thing that is so dang convenient!!!
Imagine the mess those poor cleaners had to pick up off the floor after they had left! Probably enough popcorn stamped into the carpet to fill up 15 buckets! Savages
I haven’t been able to find a video of the home that showed enough. She is off her rocker that’s for sure. No way she can support all of those kids selling those paintings. I will say they SEEM happy?? But meh…seems doesn’t mean much when it comes to these parents.
@Erin Ireland last time I checked people were allowed to have opinions. And in MY opinion, it's embarrassing. Guess I have more morals, I would never allow my friend to spend over $400 on a birthday party for my child, even if they offered. 🤷♀️
I’d be willing to argue MadMama is much worse than Alicia. Atleast Alicias children are being fed and getting an education. MadMama doesn’t even provide the children hygiene products, the kids were without toothpaste for two weeks. The son is the one who claimed it and madmama had the audacity to post it and say he should’ve asked.
Doesn't she have a kid who is fighting childhood cancer right now and all she does is attempt to become internet famous? I've watched her videos whenever they come up on my fyp and it's like you can smell the mold in their house and how unhygienic everyone is through the videos!
@@clairesaffin2003 yes she does, poor little man is still fighting it last I’ve heard. To my knowledge the kids are left alone while she takes Donnie for days in the hospital and the ex husband just drops food off to them. Breaks my heart to think about how those kids have to sit at home neglected waiting on their mom to get back from cancer treatment with their little brother just to still get neglected when moms actually home. Those babies need so much more than they’re getting in all aspects of life
@@Raya-ir4tm sure doesn’t especially since it was never a justification. It also doesn’t take away from Veronica starving her children and not sending them to school. Looks like we may have differing opinions about what would be worse. That’s okay for people to feel differently. Both set of kids are not being treated correctly is something we definitely both agree on.
@Valerie Fecik exaclty!! That makes it so much worse! I wouldent be able to accept that much from someone I just met lol no matter how much money they have!! Heck I feel guilty when my own mom offers to get me stuff 😅 🤣🤣
You are so right about large families. I have 4 children and I feel so stretched thin and it actually hurts me because I feel like I don’t have enough time in the day to give all 4 of my kids the amount of attention that they need and deserve… and we are a two parent household with help from family. I cannot even begin to imagine how these people with so many children can give them what they need, I just don’t see how it’s possible. These kids must be competing for attention of the parents and it’s so sad.
As a kid my daycare would take about 20 kids to the movie during the summer. We’d order one bucket of popcorn and they would give each of us a cup full. It felt similar to being in a large family and I still remember how much we shared things and learned how to cooperate with others. These kids don’t really have those kinds of large family moments of learning companionship. There’s always a strange competitive vibe. Also, why didn’t she buy a case of water at BJ’s for like $8?😩
I'm not sure if this particular theater does it, but out by us you can rent a single screen for a large group/party for $200. You can then get full Pizzas, etc party food to make it easier. You call a couple days in advance and pay for it all, so you're not clogging up the line and taking all the food and making it a shit show..
I just discovered this mad mama right before you posted this and I’m so glad you covered her! The family does live in poverty, apparently she just left an abusive marriage that she stayed in just to have more and more kids, and she absolutely wants to exploit her kids for money. She’s been on Snapchat stories doing interviews multiple times, that’s how I first heard of her
She could rent that theater herself and then they would have been ready for them and no one else gets their movie ruined 🤔. She never thinks anything through.
I’m #3 out of 10 children and we lived in a house that was 844 sq ft when there were 9 children at home. It was actually a 2 bedroom but we used it as a 3 bedroom by using the living room as a bedroom and the dining room as a living room. They put a loveseat in the laundry room and I would sleep there. so imagine 12 people living in a house that is 844 sq. ft. with only one bathroom. That was our main childhood home. My dad was an abusive alcoholic, so grandpa had that house and would graciously let us live there. That was usually the only house we would only ever regularly have electricity and running water. Grandpa wouldn’t let us go without. When we didn’t live there, it was miserable. We had to scoop toilets with coffee mugs because we didn’t have running water and get jugs of water from the nearest water source. I’m so grateful those days are over.
I’m so sorry but I’m glad you made it out ok. That’s traumatic and thank goodness for your amazing grandpa who gave everything he could for his grandbabies.
I am shocked 😳. Almost to tears. I went and have a look on this woman's channel. There is this one video where she and the children go shopping for food. 😢 The poor children is so poorly dressed. The one little boy wears a top way too big for him. I get it, it's one of the oldest kids tops, but the point is it's sooo dirty. This woman talks about how she visited an old boyfriend when she wanted to fall pregnant one time. This is so groce. I am shocked and it takes a lot to shock me to tears.
Lush and Josh were house hunting over the weekend. My source tells me they were looking at a 4 bedroom house in Pittsford; kinda small for 12 kids. They were also quite rude, but no surprise there. We all know she is fake with her "be kind" bullshit.
4 bedrooms? That's still 4 kids per room-- give or take due to splitting up boys and girls (I don't know or care how many they have of each). I would say 6 bedrooms would be the absolute minimum, 7 would be ideal. In another video (a while ago) she said that they're not moving because they'd have to get a loan-- If she'd stay out of the grocery store for a few months and eat all the food they already have they could pay cash for a new house. Lol
Thanks for the laughs!!!! Omg lush is a complete mess. When you were taking about the other Josh having his air pods in all the time, I was thinking he's listening to YOU talk about his wify 😂
"Out in the woods sniffing his nuts" Great line my friend, great line.. P.s. she could have easily called ahead and got her food and drinks all set up and ready for her..
oh I totally believe that it’s impossible to give all 12 kids attention. I have 2 and I feel like my heart is torn in two places and I often wonder if they’re both getting the attention they deserve. I CANT IMAGINE TWELVE
@@JannieMetteand I grew up in a home with 3 and my parents said 4 words a day to me and showed my siblings constant love. Just because you got lucky doesn’t mean we should condone this. God forbid one of the kids in that situation needs extra care and no one notices because you physically cannot spend quality individual time with 14 kids on a regular basis. Which means they won’t have time to tell you anything that’s bothering them. I’d also nearly guarantee that not all 14 kids in your household actually felt that way, especially the fosters who didn’t stay
Since English is not my first language, I am even running out of words to explain, how I feel about a mom like this ... Thank God she is not my mom ... ! But to me it is suprising, how confident people can be, while talking so much BS and sharing it on the internet, too ... !
She bought all the kids popcorns. Especially the little ones cause she knows Harley and the bratty twins would have a fit if they didn't get what they wanted
So I’m in law school right now, and basically we’re learning about human trafficking right now. 1) there are push and pull factors Ex/ the push factor is that these children have no other option because they can’t live with their families. The pull factor is a better life with this family than they would have possibly with another family or they have no other choice cause the other choice is risking being part of a bad family or the foster care system. 2) they’re vulnerable, they’ve been coerced for the most part cause you can tell many of them don’t really wanna be there. N has clearly said she wants out of this house. 3) yes it’s forced labour because the trafficker is making money and these kids should not be working as there are legal working ages. Ex/ I worked at Tim Hortons when I was 14 cause that was the legal age. Had I been working at Tim Hortons at age 9 that would be illegal. Many of These kids are underage for legal working ages. 4) The benefit for the trafficker. Ex/ these families are making a ton of money off the work of their children l. My conclusion: This could be leaning toward human trafficking but idk maybe I’m being extra? I’m just saying this is very concerning. If this isn’t exploitation then I guess neither is ‘S’ trafficking children. Considering there are creeps out there and none of these people are protecting the children. That woman is an idiot cause this very well is at least exploitation
@Dad Challenge Podcast you literally make my day, watching your videos really dose put a smile on my face not only because you address the fact this woman is vile and those children deserve better but how you word things and are straight to the point, your brilliant keep the video coming x
When I grew up everyone I knew and most people in my town came from large families me included. That was in the early 60's & 70's where most families had 5-12 kids. I came with 5 siblings and I can assure you we all had a great life. We lived with living off our large gardens and farms. We never had what kids have today and yet we were never bored. Once our chores were done by noon we had the rest of the day to play outdoors until the street lights came on if you had them. We grew up preserving our summer & fall harvest with our grandparents, that was the best fun for me as I loved my grandmother & great grandmother dearly.
I am so glad I found your channel!! I used to think these family vloggers were “real” and I would compare myself and be hard on myself. You have opened my eyes and have taught me a lot!! Thank you Josh. I am about to turn 26, been married for almost 3 years, and just started trying to conceive😊 I am in a way better place mentally and no longer follow or compare myself to influencers! I won’t be posting my children on social media and will be living for them and my real life relationships instead of social media. Hope this all makes sense as I’m not very good at articulating my thoughts. Have a great day!! 😊
They always have a nice kids treat at Regal cinemas… small popcorn, one candy, and a small soda. PLENTY for a child and even a teenager!! Large bucket is a waste!!
Based off of the way she speaks, she was DEFINITELY the kid in class everybody prayed wouldn’t get called on to read aloud right before recess. Straight be there all day with her trying to sound out “see spot run.”
I’ve worked in a restaurant for 18 years and I have always said that it should be mandatory for every person to work in a restaurant or some type of public service at least once so they can see what it’s like to deal with the public.. people might be kinder for it
“Pay attention to me. Everyone! Notice me! Be shocked and amazed at the size of my order! If you don’t I will hold up the line and make a mess on your floor.”
JOSH! YOU HAVE TO REACT TO HER RECENT AOUND THE WORLD MEAL! IT WAS A MESS, BUT EVERYONE WAS HYPING HER UP IN THE COMMENTS. I WAS SO CONFUSED BECAUSE THAT FOOD WAS TRASH.
they all are a mess. I remember one of them being fish sticks and fries... but I dont remember what country she was doing and I was like she can't be serious. loll.
She waste money on the weirdest stuff. Handmade Amish furniture for tons of kids who can't take care of any of their stuff and probably trash everything?? She has to be dropping at least 10k plus for them when that money could be saved for a larger house or at the minimum a working septic system so you can wash clothes. She makes no sense.
Josh, You said it!… One of my biggest issues with The DD is their lack of hairstyling! The kids look like they’ve been in the wind constantly. Alex has a carrot top mop on his head that is not flattering at all.
“ where is josh? Out in the woods sniffing his nuts, I don’t know where he is” -DCP 😂😂😂 No josh… he is at a techno club dancing with his shirt off swinging it around with his nipple rings !!
My husband was 19 when we got married, and I was 26 with a 4 year old. He treats my oldest like his own. We had our first grandson when my husband was 35. He is an amazing dad, and I love your videos and what you do.
