She cares nothing about the safety of her kids. She has a house tour on her tiktok showing the entire outside of her house. Shes also posted the town she lives in, not just saying its outside of Rochester. She shows her vehicles, her kids vehicles, and its pretty easy to look up Josh's workplace. It baffles me that someone having experience in the foster care system (where privacy is very important) would not care about it at all. It is terrifying that people can easily find her or her children because of the things shes posts.

To have a child with autism is not easy. My son has Asperger Syndrome. He is savant and IQ tests revealed he is a genius. At the age of 13 he started to get more and more aggressive and difficult to control. His life from then until now that he is 30 years old, took so many turns for the bad. His rage and meltdowns caused broken 💔 and broken furniture. I've heard of a dad taking his autistic son and then himself off the earth, just because the family could not function living to walk on eggshells all the time. My son ruined my career. He couldn't leave me alone before work and I went many a day with red eyes and a brain all over the place, could not focus. I end up in a psychiatric clinic 3 times for 3 weeks each time. I tried everything. My parents decided to buy a house for us all to live in to assist me. It ended up in my father divorcing my mother. He wanted out. My ex husband also turned his back on us. My son started hitting me when he was 23. I couldn't find help. Police, welfare departments and state hospital could not help me. The hitting stoped but the shouting, blaming, psychosis, schizophrenia and terrifying outbursts and meltdowns was constantly part of live. Addictions followed and meth was next. Meth makes him the most lovely person ever. Calmed him down, but it's poison and soon the gangsters that comes with the addiction takes over. Finally at 30 he is more present in his mind. It's easier to live with him. I lost everything I had and me my son and my mother live together. It's still not a pleasant live but it's better than those awful experiences with the gangsters stealing everything that's of worth. Why do I write this here in the comment section? Just to show you there is different kinds of autism. My son has high functioning autism and his brilliant brain works against him. I love him to bits. There is a little boy side of him coming out sometimes and one day at a time ..... Please don't think every third child have it and it's not a big deal. It's a BIG deal.

i think it is completely normal to kind of grief after a child is diagnosed because of the knowledge that they most likely will develop differently and have more challenges in life and that they may not be the child that the parents imagine

This was the first time I ever found some kind of common ground with Lush. I am a trad wife stay at home/homeschooling mama and my youngest is on the spectrum. I'm not ashamed to say I broke down after getting the diagnosis for my son as well. Any autism mama that says they've never wondered if they were at fault is straight up lying. Josh is right, an autism diagnosis isn't a death sentence but it is just yet another lifelong hurdle your baby will have to contend with. Diagnosis grief is a real thing and shouldn't be shamed, especially by someone who have never been in that situation.
