When the boys were using their inhalers, the harmonica sound was from the spacer for the inhaler...and it "sings" to indicate that it's being improperly used. He's not taking the medication into his lungs properly. She doesn't even do their ASTHMA medication properly!!! Scary. 😬

I was in an awful spot mentally and emotionally after finding out some bad news about my moms dog and you got a laugh out of me and helped me perk up enough to go run my errands and get home safely (no tears finally 😅💜) so thank you so much for being hilarious and one of my favorite kinds of people.

I grew up with asthma- and used inhalers and breathing treatments regularly. I’m shocked she doesn’t know that the sound coming from that inhaler indicates it’s being used improperly. If you hear that harmonica type noise, it means you are inhaling too quickly and thus the medication is not being properly administered and absorbed into the lungs- therefore you need to instruct your child to inhale more slowly.. there’s to be zero sound coming from that inhaler. Wild she has no awareness of this!

Same here. I have brittle asthma so on many steroid. Inhalers & nebulisers. My respiratory nurses check I’m using the spacer (thing that makes that sound) properly every 6 months. If it makes the sound, it’s too fast & you need to breathe the medication in more slowly. That bugged the hell outta me 😤

Respiratory therapist here and I came to say this too. The sound means you’re not using the inhaler/spacer properly! If you’re doing a good job it will be silent.

2 years ago my dad passed away Oct 1st. The whole month I was in a horrible slump. Cried for weeks. As soon as Halloween was over, my husband put up the Christmas tree the next day Nov 1st. Even though I told him that it was ridiculous, I came to love it. Christmas is so much fun and the whole family loves it. If it brings you joy, then who cares.

I don't know if someone already posted but miniature horses can be used as service animals. (They are the only other animal other than dogs recognized in Texas as a service animal.) They are great for those needing a service animal but are allergic to dogs.

On a recent vacation my grandpa forgot his hearing aids. He was able to hear if it was one on one but mealtimes and group activities we had to yell. It made me think of Nana and Papa. ‘YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO YELL AT PAPA SO HE CAN HEAR.’ Gee I wonder why Nana 😂 With all the screaming and slamming and pounding and pandemonium in that house I wouldn’t be surprised if the kids need hearing aids soon. I know H needs glasses but Lush doesn’t make her wear them for whatever reason.

I said exactly the same thing. Slow and steady not whistling. She’s also not holding it level . As an adult in the UK at every check up they still make you show them how to use inhaler properly because people develop bad habits over time yet she’s not got the hang yet with the then 10 kids? Also the shame for poor Alex who is what 15 in the video and she has laid out his toothpaste for them same as for the 2/3 year old H. How embarrassing can you be.

My son has had chronic asthma since he was an infant and we have always used a spacer for proper dosing and I’m under the impression that if it whistles, the child isn’t taking the medication in properly…

Omg the inhaler!!!!! 1) I saw someone else also commented about the harmonica noise and she’s right, they are inhaling way too fast plus she’s giving them three puffs in a row. You need to have a few minutes between puffs! OMG!! As a mom of an asthmatic and a nurse OH. MY. GOD!! Plus the Mr Roger’s puppet is on point and now I can’t I see it! 🤣 Love the costumes!! You can bet those “bedtime supplements” contain a lot of melatonin!!!

I feel the same about Christmas! I grew up in a pretty happy home but we didn’t have a lot. My parents and grandparents always made sure that Christmas Day was amazing! Now I absolutely LOVE Christmas. I go all out for decorating, we listen to Christmas music in our car and at home, we go to all our local Christmas carols and I always try to make sure my kids wake up to the gifts they have asked for (within reason of course) then we do traditional Australian Lunch with the whole family and play cricket in the backyard and just have an awesome day. It’s so nostalgic to me and I crave it every year.

The reason it’s “one of their later nights” getting the kids to be is because she added a bunch of stuff to the “routine” that she never does….so naturally it took way longer. Also filming her kids…especially teenager sleeping….what a violation. I’d be mortified going to school knowing my peers have seen me at my most vulnerable. She’s truly awful.

Mini horses do have a use! They are used to haul tiny carriages of tiny children! And they’re the cutest things ever so they really don’t need a purpose .....

They can also be used as service animals (at least in the US)! They tend to have a longer working career than dogs and can do heavier mobility work.. I have a service dog but know a few horses. One of them has dog allergies so a mini horse is great for them!

That was Albuterol which is an as needed medication. Yet, she mentioned giving it every 4 hours. Control medications are once or twice a day and that inhaler was not it. So she is doing it wrong.

No Christmas decorations here, until November 12, after Remembrance Day. My partner is a veteran and this is very important to him. But I get the excitement for Christmas, it’s such a beautiful and festive time! 🎄

I’m so down with Christmas starting in NOVEMBER ! I used to wait until about the second week of November and my husband would hate it haha but now I’m like no I’d rather have it up November & December and take it down last day of December or first week January :p January is a ‘no decoration month’ for me haha it’s a nice break and then february hits and then I bust out all new decor again

I have a very similar background as you, and it took me 15-16 years to almost like Christmas. I’ve hated ALL celebrations/holidays, cause everyone were happy, and we were not. Being poor we didn’t do much or get any gifts, and it was very noticable coming back to school that we were poor. Now I can do Christmas, but I do have some anxiety still!
