for those who is new on making donuts, make sure that you know how to activate the Yeast, which is the Milk should be warm, and really need that sugar, also if you want to proof the dough, or rise it, it should be really in a warm place, because it wont rise if it isnt, and if you will cut it in donut shape, make sure its sligthly thick, like half of a size of a donut, and then proof it again in warm place, in warm place, you can search for "How to proof a dough, quickly" or just making sure that its warm where you place the dough good luck 😄
@@atmajazone I usually pour some warm sink water and set my dough bowl on top of it. It has always work out for me..but oven will help too. Just make sure it's not too hot or it will kill the yeast...
You can also put the dough in the oven with the light on, the light will create a bit of heat. Or put inside microwave and put a bowl of hot water next to it and close the door

i made mine. it was a success! i glazed mine. Just mix a small amount of milk with 1/2 cup powdered sugar (if you dont have powdered sugar, you can make one. just blender flor and sugar together. there is a youtube guide). It's so good!!!
This is the best doughnut recipe, so easy and super tasty doughnuts , got them right in the first timeee , it's just i needed more flour than just 2 cups and also a little tip : the flame shouldn't be high at all , should be low medium , because then your doughnuts will become super brown and crispy and you want then to be light brown and soft ❤️
I've tried your recipe just now. So so so happy with the result..it is sooooo soft and fluffy.i make it into krispy kreme donuts..dip in the vanilla glaze (2cups icing sugar+30 gr butter+ 3 tbsp water+3 tbsp milk+ 1/2 tsp vanilla). This is the easiest recipe so far..thank you so much..the doughnuts came out to be delicious.. what I want to say is the doughnuts were smaller..so next time ill make bigger and thicker ones..also the doughnuts shouldn't be cooked for a long time..as you see in the picture, the doughnuts are really brown..so dont make it dark.. just make it brown..not dark and not very light..then it will be perfect!!Good luck. Addition: your dough will rise well if you keep it in a warm place..in my case I put it outside in the sun..that was great..

Would a regular yeasted donut recipe for frying be for baking too? Or there's a special recipe for the baked ones. I don't want the cake version.. Kindly advise. Thank you!
@@kristina-dq3yb It's a type of leavening agent that is used in baked goods such as bread in order for it to rise properly and have a spongy texture. You might be able to order it online (the type of yeast called for in this recipe is instant yeast), or you can also try donut recipes that have baking powder/ soda in it instead.

I tried this recipe the first time and everything was perfect and the donuts were delicious. Today I tried the same thing but it was crunchy, I dunno what I did wrong.

i'm making them again, proofing was better as i put the microwave on low and covered it. dough raised so much more this time. i made too many last time so i'll roll them out thicker instead so no more waste. thanks again
