If you are referring to the big tarp like thing behind the goal, in the Bayern fan curve with the Bayern logo on it, it has nothing to with Japan or the Imperialistic Japanese flag. It’s essentially just the team colors of red and white arranged in stripes with the Bayern Crest/logo in the middle. There’s no symbolism towards anything Japanese or imperialistic at all.
