Modern manufacture Dovo Master’s…shave ready from the factory, yes, but not to my liking. Re-hone today. No tape used by me on SuperCurve, but at Dovo? check out the one minute mark:

I started this last night, but couldn’t finish. 😴💤. Started over. Good shave. Good commentary. I personally like that Dovo razor form with shoulder. 👍🏻

Beautiful Dovo 'masters' lovely razor , and i totally agree with your remark on wet lathers , i stalled on drying lather sunday , not nice i was just messing about edge testing . Not a great experience. Stainless not my favourite! Your Masters is fabulous 👌

Thanks Martin. When purchasing, I was hoping for a NOS finding on the discontinued SS model which usually can be found for about 2X the price on this carbon steel model.

@@Martins-Shaves123 Not so much the steel preference for me, but the particular shoulderless 6/8 forged blank form that was only used in a few SS models.
