Byron You must be so bloody busy with so many cars you're working on & being a family man 😝👍 Your property & shed / vehicles every friggin where is absolutely awesome 😝 You are living a good life & doing what your passion is CARS & working on them ! You luv to talk 👍 & Communicate like the words just automatically flow ! some network should give you a car show to do seriously 👍 Mate why the hell would you take a car to Pedder for suspension check 🤔🤔 id say you would know just as much about cars than some of the staff at tender age of 19 - 20 ive seen here at Pedders in Bundaberg Qld hey ! Please keep up the video's on Commodores / In particular Calais 2004/2010 if possible ! Cheers from Bundy 🍹🕺
Your not wrong self inflicted busy haha got so much done over the last month around the house and yard back into the youtube videos next week but we need to pick up another project for the Big fella eg my boy haha if you seen the HT ute project lets just say we are stepping it up
Awesome update bro, keen to see all this you are talking about! mmm wish that ute was a HQ bummer, you definitely have a car yard and a half there bro hahah
@@downtheshedwithbyron The in laws barina may have crapped out (I gotta head down south during the school holidays to check it out) so I might have a vehicle suitable for a derby or auto karnage 1000. It may have lost oil pressure or the sensor is faulty but it got massively overfilled with oil and shes sounding a bit rattly now apparently
Yep life gets in the way on things you want to do! Lol at this rate you'll be starting a dodgy car yard! I'd go with more content on the Calais. Drop the suspension all round to 2 finger height on the wheel arches. Holden content never goes astray. The spare engines I'd say do them up, get them running & sell them to fund other projects. You can get the big fella to give you a hand. Holden engines are easy to build. The VY wagon, swap the V6 for one that's good. The old block, turn it into a coffee table. The Nissans, well rust is part of them. Do some vids on how to tackle the rust (once you get your welder) & the same with the Landcruiser. The cruisers weak point is rust around the screen so you might need a screen repairer to take out the front screen & get stuck into it. Good to see you back mate, can't wait for the next video.
Thanks mate Yeah the calais would look mint at that height Rust repairs is not my thing happy to have a crack though The cruiser ill leave till robbie works out what he whats to do Was talking to the Big fella is we sell the 6s we could fund a v8 Anyway take it easy mate 👍
@@downtheshedwithbyron With the rust repairs around the turret, cut the metal a bit bigger than the rust area itself & then weld the metal on & then smooth it off. Smaller bit's I'd use gorilla hair.
Vr Calais looks best with 18 inch wheels. Much better traction for cornering safely. I have genuine HSV VT GTS wheels with new shadow chrome paint on my Vt Clubsport 5l. Would prefer a 5l for your calais but if you do the ls1 from the vt calais you are getting it will still be sweet.
@downtheshedwithbyron Yes I love the look of the VT GTS wheels. Very expensive but worth it to get a set in perfect condition. Good luck with your VR Calais. Hope to see it in person around Perth eastern suburbs.
Hi Byron! Are you available for some work on my Vy commodore and HSV VT CLUBSPORT. You can use them on your channel. I have many quality parts to be fitted. Hard to find a good mechanic I can trust. Most will not fit parts that customers supply. How can I contact you? If not, can you recommend anyone in perth eastern suburbs.
Holding a bottle of booze while talking about cars is hardly a good look. It certainly doesn't champion the right behaviours' a family friendly audience expects. I know you can do better.
