[][][][][] FAQ [][][][][]
Q: How much did program cost?
A: $12
Q: What device does it work on?
A: As of now, only the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, & iPad 5th Gen. It will eventually support other checkm8 compatible devices in the near future (except the iPhone X).
Q: Does it work on Windows?
A: No, it was made for Intel based Macs but some users reported that it works on apple silicone under Rosetta.
Q: Where can I get the IPSW?
A: theapplewiki.com/wiki/Firmware
Q: How do I fix [SEP IMG4 missing] error?
A: Re-run the program and enter DFU mode when prompted. If you get the error again, restart your Mac & repeat steps until it works.
Q: How do I fix [ldid failed] error?
A: Watch [ • Limefix Blackbird SEP ... ] and go to 7:57 timestamp.
Q: How do I fix [Could not kickstart restore] error?
A: Go to your ‘Home’ folder, delete all files created by the Blackbird SEP Utility, and repeat downgrade process. TBH, not even sure if it was this or me resetting/restoring iOS 15.8.1 to get a ‘clean’ downgrade process.
Q: Program says ‘Reboot: Success’ but device shows black screen/Apple logo didn’t appear?
A: Not entirely sure about this, but I did notice that clicking the home button seemed to ‘trigger’ the restoring screen. Might have just been a coincidence.

[][][][][] Review [][][][][]
The program is about a month old and it has issues. Some errors you might get are ‘SEP IMG4 missing’, ‘Could not kickstart restore’, ‘ldid failed’, and overall just a bunch of crashing of the program itself causing you to repeat the same steps until it works. In the off chance that the program has no issues at all on your first attempt, the downgrade should only take about 10 minutes. The uncut video of me trying to downgrade was about 2 hours long, trying to fix the issues I mentioned before. So, was downgrading worth the $12 LimeFix Tech is selling the downgrade tool for? No - too many issues with downgrading and you’ll technically end up with a software level iPod touch since you can’t sign-in to iCloud/AppleID due to verification errors (except App Store) and cellular service doesn’t work. If/when the program fixes the issues, adds more iOS/device support, and possibly simplifies the downgrading process similar to LeetDown, only then would I say it is worth buying. Until then, I can’t wait to downgrade a 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 inch to iOS 10, essentially giving me the most powerful 32-bit supported device.
