I love this so much! I'm so glad Dan and Michelle worked on a movie together before the series, because now we have this :D Your editing skills are excellent, especially with the first "deleted scene". I love it :D
True ... though in their adaption of it, they did hint strongly that Dan Steven's character was falling in love Michelle Dockery's character by the end.
That was marvelous. The girl looked precisely like a child of Matthew's and Mary's! Clearly, at the level at which Downtown Abbey was designed, actors, actresses, and writers created works of art that far surpassed what they could release to the common medium. I am reminded of how a composer like Beethoven wrote some pieces for the general audience, but other compositions (the Great Fugue) he reserved for the few who could perform/understand them.
Okay, even though this dream is not real, I still love the " family" thought. It is so ROMANTIC. I hope they can have many children, unfortunately, Matthew.......
This scene is from The Taming of the Shrew, in which Michelle Dockery plays the governess and Dan Stevens the psychiatrist trying to figure out why she killed the child. They made this in 2009, two years before Downton Abbey's first season. The scene is of the children she cared for running ahead of her on the grounds of the estate.
@xKeepCalmAndCarryOnx --- its ben edited aha --- its really good though. I wish it was put in on the actual footage. The kid footage is from The Turn of the Screw ---- it was bbc adaptation that starred Michelle Dockery and Dan Stevens in --- i think iits a couple of years old, well thats when I watchedit :P
This has been taken from turn of the screw, which is where the scenes with michelle dockery come from, you never actually see the children with matthew, you fooled me to start with, but then I recognised the kids.
