Doxa Killer Or Homage Nightmare? - Pagani Design Sub 300T PD-1719 

The outer ring is the " no decompression " chart. For example, if one was diving to a depth of 40 meters, the stay time is 15 minutes. Set the pips to the minute hand and when you hit 15 minutes, time to ascend. Both rings turn together on Doxa's as well. It’s the Thorn that's " wrong" and useless.

Yes the bezel has a slightly loose action and no lume pip but it's actually true to the real Doxa. Both rings are designed to turn together.

I'm thinking Pagani will be knocking a few points off your rating for not understanding how the bezel works! 😆

Just took delivery of the Seestern version of this watch and it is excellent. A little more expensive than the Pagani but still about a tenth of the price of a Doxa.

The price is now down to £66. Would it be worth that price?

The inner ring of the bezel is a "count up" indicator and the outer ring of the bezel is a "count down" indicator.

I have ordered one and it is on its way. Disappointing but its nice that you have different opinion on it

... by v3 Pagani usually fix most of the issues (see speedy moonwatch) ... except for the lum which is ALWAYS 'trademark' aweful. Fyi I have the Seestern which I love.

Unfortunately this one doesn’t make sense when Seestern sells a clearly better version for not too much more. Although I understand not everyone’s “not too much more” is all relative. Thanks for the great review.

Uh oh. I guess my Doxa also has a useless bezel. This is the third review of this watch I have seen in a row where the reviewer didn’t understand how to use the bezel and then faulted PD when, in fact PD made the bezel correctly. We love you, but a couple of minutes with Google would have gone a long way.

As soon as I get mine in the post, I'm changing out the hand set to black framed turtle style hands with great lume. Can't deal with those dim hands.

Ohhh lord not another razor sharp bracelet 🙏!! I was sooo disappointed with the AP royal homage I don't think I'll be buying another Pagani ever again!

I paid the equivalent of C$50 more on watch dives for my tactical frog version two but I think the Pagani looks amazing!! I guess the extra $50 I paid was for the better C3 lume which actually goes all night long, and I like that my rotating bezel is not as tall, lower profile. I wonder if they regulate the movements for accuracy? Someone on a forum said that they think tactical frog regulate the movement mine was -8 when I got it but I regulated it myself to -2. I’m going to take some time and get a little on the plus side if I can help it. I think the tactical frog version three with the correct bezel for Minute tracker absolutely beats this thing especially in the new silver sunburst dial. As for Seestern their prices have skyrocketed and it’s 10 g heavier than my frog so I’m sticking with what I got for now But for $50 less I can definitely live with this thing

no date - lume at hands doesn't work in dark - one year after the homage hype for Doxas and already a handfull copy brands are in the pond for a while. Think this one will be not the best selling Pagani copy clone:D

For this money, I have just bought a San Martin field watch with 200m water resistance, great finishing and outstanding lume. Maybe buy the v2? Disappointing

This is a disappointment. I currently own 3 Pagani Design watches and have been impressed with their quality for the price they charge. I’ve had a hankering for a Doxa for a while and was hoping this could Pagani number 5 (White dial Explorer 2 will be number 4) Hopefully by the time I get round to it they’ll be on version 2 and will have resolved these issues.
