This striking blue homage watch by Pagani Design, model #PD1719, uses the Seiko NH38 movement. This video looks at the overall build quality of this homage watch and lists out the pros, and cons of this watch.
Hi Eric, I just bought this watch during the 11/11 AliExpress sale and paid $88 USD. I agree with the faults that you identified, except the design concern - this is pretty close to the DO_A original. My copy does not suffer from the grinding or ball bearing sounds that you described. The 300m water resistance is rather unlikely can’t compare to my real Omega, but if I cam wear it at the pool, that’s the limit of my diving, as is likely 99.9% of all purchasers. I have several other PD watches and they are routinely battered by reviewers because the bezel and the lume are a bit wonky. My Omega Seamaster cost a whole lot more, but frankly, for $88 I love this watch! Thanks for your review. Keep up the good work!
Hey Fred. Thanks for watching. Glad your purchase worked out for you. I think I must have got a bad one for the movement to sound like that. If they were all like that Pagani would never stay in business. It's just my personal thing that I don't like a direct homage watches. But I completely understand why other people do. Wear what you buy and buy what you love. Enjoy your watch. 👍
