Raiden is best "Support". She is so good at "supporting" that your main DPS don't even have to be on the field.

I feel like ganyu/raiden/keqing at c0 would be a much closer matchup, Raidens c2 and ganyu's c6 are insanely strong, while all of keqings constellations are sort of trash comparatively I wish mihoyo added toggleable constellations, would be interesting to see the difference honestly

I'd like to see a standard banner character dps showdown (Diluc, Keqing, Jean, Qiqi, Mona).

Ngl, I was actually quite _shocked_ to know that, for as powerful his Raiden is, it's actually only 79% of the possible power potential. For me (an f2p) that's already like 300% of the best i can do lol.

As a Keqing Main, I'm just happy to play her decently well.

Good video besides, Keqing doesn't really dislike the archons. In face, she loves them and is very grateful for what they've done. What she doesn't like is how blatantly dependent the people become towards them. Xiao and Ganyu's story quests highlighted these events more closely. She has a strong belief that society would grow and develop more if they didn't rely on their deities so whole-heartedly and actually took the time to live their life for themselves which became a turning point in Liyue's storyline.

"a true keqing main by now should have a perfect artifact setup" meanwhile me playing since day one every day owning only but a single godly artifact and it's not even a dungeon set it's a wonderer's piece also to mention that majority of my resin goes to artifacts farming.

For most of the time, Raiden is a support. But her burst simply kills everything in the 7 seconds that it's active.

Being someone who mained Keqing for a while and had no other strong DPS, when I got c2 Raiden with her weapon and very avg artifacts, I legit almost had a heartattack when she kept oneshotting all the bosses. Domains that took me a while became 80% faster to complete. I’m literally obsessed. She’s amazing and my main DPS now

I feel like your Keqing rotations aren’t giving her ideal damage :-( when I play Keqing I never see white numbers. Without swapping characters, however, I know there’s a combo e1>aa1>q>e2>chardged spam into e and charge attack spam I know should work for her most prolonged damage combo •_• the aa1 also helps stack Mistsplitter… since I don’t believe her e counts as a stack

Watching this make me realizes that my standard for building a certain character to become dps were far too high. I mean, the moment my characters could oneshot a hilichurl, they already qualified as my dps.

As a keqing main, I'm starting to understand after this video why she doesn't like the archons. 😞

You can actually improve your Keqing's normal/charged attack damage if you switch to a 4 piece shimenawa set instead. Since it's a boost to normal dmg she gets buffed regardless of if you use her physical or infusion attacks. And can even keep the boost when using a C6 Bennet. People tend to avoid this set because of its cost however just having a small amount of ER substats here and there combined with the amount of particles Keqing generates completely negates shimenawa's cost.

love the comparison and especially adding the eula combo to show raiden as more of a support. i have to say i especially love this raiden series going more in depth building up to this final whaled out C6 comparison. the extra intermediate steps/videos giving a fuller analysis of C0/F2P raiden has been super useful. i really hope you keep this type of set up more often going forward as it's a great asset to non-whales.

i gotta be honest with you. Against an unmoving enemy, a well invested keqing - even one that doesn't have nearly as high a dmg potential as, say, ganyu - spamming charged attacks and seeing the health bar drain reasonably quickly with the added sound effects is oddly satisfying lmao

I think it would be more interesting to see a dps showdown between Raiden, Hu Tao and Eula since all 3 of them got a similar playstyle with their "nuke q" instead of Ganyu and the community voted Keqing. Nontheless, nice video as always, keep it up!

As a Ganyu main it's always nice to see Keqing still do work! I love playing both of them and will always try to build both her and Ganyu as much as I can. Both have vastly different playstyles and I find both so much fun.

just like Ganyu at release Raiden is a "SUPPORT" which they do by killing the enemy first

She is a support just because Mihoyo said so in her official web presentation XD. Otherwise she would be called a main dps, what kind of support demands TEN seconds of screen time to be effective? Imagine Benett or Kazuha the 2 best supports in the game having to be on field for ten seconds to buff the team XD. Raiden's damage is as relevant or even more relevant than the rest of main dps, since she has to build stacks to deal dmg and only has 7 seconds. The hability to deal dmg or buff characters or heal without the need to be on the field is the most broken mechanic in genshin and ppl haven't realize yet lmao

I'd be curious to see this comparison at c0. Keqing has some of the worst constellations in the game imo , scaling very little up till c6 compared to the other 2

The best part when using keqing is when you pair her with xiangling cause you'll just have light mobs in the air most of the time

Keqing is still a decent dps and fun to use character. She'll be good as subdps, paired to the Raiden Shogun.

A shame. I really like Keqing. Genshin is odd for me in how almost all the agreed upon best characters I personally dislike as being dumb looking, annoying or boring. You can be done with the game with minimal investment, but it doesn't make for a very enjoyable experience.

Eyeball catching is one thing, but I prefer back when this channel focused on practical combat instead of theoretical DPS output in a vaccuum. Raiden's dmg mechanic revolve around resolve stacks, and the purple cat hair girl is actually the fastest resolve stacker standalone, Electro Traveler is technically the fastest stacker but team dependent. Keqing is one of those characters that is unlikely to ever be able to output high DPS in a short window because she is a pure standalone DPS when it comes to raw dmg, if her output is anywhere close to the top burst DPS or Ganyu she would be broken as she technically needs no team to function at peak efficiency. That is both her greatest strength and weakness, and honestly Mihoyo might want to do something about Electro or just buff Keqing a little bit because the game balance is getting worse and worse in Genshin. Despite the Geo and Anemo buffs, the most important Electro issues Mihoyo still has no answers for other than release characters with bigger multipliers, but at least they put in mechanics that limit those multipliers. I hope the Dendro release isn't going to be a mess.

C2 Raiden really makes her as an insane main DPS, and even only at C0 she already can do decent number despite intended as support. The fact that she could do this on a scuffed element just bonkers, imagine if electro is not scuffed

With Keqing if you do her burst then her skill, her 2nd passive will apply to the hits from her skill (including the extra c1 hits) and her electro infusion will have less of its duration wasted during her burst animation. This means more attacks that hit with electro damage instead of physical damage (5 digit charge attacks instead of 4 digit ones). Unless you actually need it to teleport, if you have both her Q and E off coooldown use her Q first.

Man, I'm so disappointed I couldn't pull Raiden. I did 1 10 pull on Yoimiya just for a chance to roll around with Sayu, (I was about 30 summons in at the time) and I ended up pulling her. It screwed me over so bad, I guess it's a lesson in restraint if nothing else lol.

You did mention it and show constellations (brieflyish) but IMO would be a service to viewers to really strongly highlight earlier in the video just how important the constellations are on Raiden. I watched this forgetting/not noticing from the beginning that you're using fully whaled (constellations) characters and started to consider pulling Raiden. Then caught the mention about constellations at the end and remembered all of that.
