honestly not surprised to see Xiao and Keqing this high at all, they always had decent dps and were relatively good in solo runs, the problem with them is that they don't have broken team comps to run with

I don't think 2 ruin guards are the best way to showcase AoE dmg dealers, they aggro too closer to the character to the point that they basically share the same hitbox.

Not surprised at all by Xiao's placement. If I recall correctly, last time there were 2 ruin bots in 12-3, Xiao held the fastest time for a solo character(I could have recalled incorrectly - sorry if that's the case)

Honestly with how many people hyping how bad kokomi is, I'm very impressed with her time. I taught she would take like 1 minute or so

It's pretty interesting that as always, there's some character that increase their damage when there's more enemy. Ganyu, Childe, Kazuha, etc. deals way more damage to multiple enemies rather than single enemy.

Childe is my most favourite character but i cant help but laugh at how he tortures Childe ToT

I am a proud Childe main who knows his general potential and I didn't even expect him to do this good tbh and IWTL didn't even use thundering pulse which is his best weapon at the moment

It makes sense Childe did well here because his Riptide has quadratic scaling. A single target test for Childe is pretty depressing unless he's acting as purely an enabler for Xiangling which is more of a Xiangling showcase than Childe. When Riptide triggers: Against 1 target = 1 Riptide hit total Against 2 targets = 4 Riptide hits total Against 3 targets = 9 Riptide hits total Against 4 targets = 16 Riptide hits total Against 5 targets = 25 Riptide hits total Different types of Riptides trigger depending on what Childe does: attacking in Melee stance (1.5sec ICD), staying in Melee stance (C4, every 4 seconds, does not share ICD with other triggers), hitting with Melee Burst, and killing a target with Riptide status still on them. He just gets better the more targets there are faster than everyone that isn't Ganyu.

I literally summoned for 2 units since launch Xiao and Ayaka and they do not disappoint Both are AoE monsters

Xiao and childe's seem like they can be improved most, on childe thundering pulse might be better and xiao had r1 homa and others had their bis r5 weapons

I like how Xiao is doing all alone without any teammates that can puff him unlike all the other contestants and still be able to take 2nd place. This just shows how op he is😌.

Surprised to see Childe place so high. Normally you would consider him an enabler and not a dps, but seeing his personal dps on display it really goes to show how great he is at his role.

Good video overall, and a thorough thank you for taking your audience's wishes into consideration. I couldn't help but notice however that despite this challenge being AOE-focused, but it CAN be better. It's still fairly easy to hit 2 mobs with charged attacks and even NAs, not to mention some AOEs bursts like Ayaka's, who is actually really clunky to hit multiple enemies with, but can be done. I know the current abyss doesn't provide a sufficiently good level for that, but I'd love to see a video like that in the future. I'm sure Ganyu and Xiao would top the charts even further in that case, and if the enemy is slightly less tanky, maybe even Diluc would put on a better show.

That Xiao run was insane?? I’m Soo damn impressed! I wonder if my future triple crowned Xiao could be as strong even at C0/C1 with death match. Of course most likely not because they have him at C6 and Staff of homa, but I’ll still try my best and invest everything I have into him and hope that the results will surprise me somehow

Ayaka is totally worth waiting a year and am so glad that i got my princess!

This is very impressive, and ultimately, shows how little meta matters. For 3 stars you need to clear that half under 90s (in reality less because the second half takes longer), but with a full team. With Noelle main dps, and Ningguang, Xinyan, Fischl sub dps I clear this floor in ~40s. The upper bound of potential dps is so high that going with something extremely unoptimal in comparison will still be enough. If your characters are built enough and you know what you're doing. So just play whatever you want to play :)

Bennet got put up there with the 5 star units because he’s just that broken

Something worth to mention, shentinzu's xiao holds an R1 Weapon, and also without any party resonance and without any cards in the abyss otherwise i believe he can be the fastest time.. Edit:R1 wep is displayed in the Sec 11:55, and also in the previous one of "tHiS tYpE oF VidEoS", and the cards and the team is just easy noticeable.

IWTL is the best RAID SHADOW LEGENDS Endorser. Also, damn. I'm so glad about my main Ayaka. If i only have mistsplitter, i think i could possibly have that insanse amount of dmg. And I'm also proud about my Favorite Main Beidou to for clearing the thing within 30 sec. Im so proud bcz she is considered c tier a long time ago but look at her now.

Eula seems to be the most "worth" character to C6. No limitations like Xiao C6 and broken multipliers make her a beast even against 70% phys res.

Good video - entertaining to watch. More jokes are definitely appreciated. There are quite a few surprises. Please make an aoe comparison video as well when there is suitable environment, although it will likely be very predictable, unlike these single target and cleave fights.

when I read AOE I thought it was gonna be Floor 12-1 where the mobs are spread around and there's samurai dudes so Venti can't just suck them, the 2 Ruin Guards are so close together it kinda makes the AOE part of the test null, pretty much everyone can attack them at the same time when they're that close......

ahh i can't wait for xiao to have his bis artifact he's already good with 2 glad 2 vv but I would still want to see his own bis artifact that can maximize his potential

I wish there was an option to turn off constellations. I would very much like to see characters in as equal environment as possible, and sadly the strength of constellations is overwhelming on some characters and barely noticeable on others. Also comparison of character with vs without their signature set would be interesting to see.

As a person with a c0 xiao cannot say that I prefer his play style at c6 but mine with Bennett buff (80/90 Aquila fav. Level 10 ult c3) could demolish these ruin guards in about 28-31 seconds

Great video as always! I think Xiao's time would be way better if he had a passive team like the other characters. They all usually had a combination of double pyro, double cryo, double GEO, zhongli shield shred, etc. I am really happy to see xiao doing so well.

I like your videos but it’s sad to see you talk about some characters with a sense of underlying prejudice against them. For example when you mock Kokomi. We know kokomi is not who you go to for big numbers and I didn’t pull for her because of this, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t loved by some people who value other aspects of the game more than raw numbers Dps. You can go ahead and state she doesn’t do much Dps but don’t put her down- you are a content creator. Same with Xiao, I always get the sense that you don’t like him but for these ‘number videos’ I don’t need to be hear comments that come from your dislike for a character, I’m here for an objective view and the numbers will speak for themselves for different audiences. All in all, I get that you value characters that do high raw Dps and hence the videos, I value your personal preferences but that’s not what I’m here for when I click into a numbers comparison video. I think if you are more objective about it and let the video speak for itself you will attract a larger number of audiences.
