I thought it's because she's single target, while her single target DPS has always been among the best, she'll take twice as long against 2 enemies. Of course it doesn't matter if it's 25 seconds vs 50 seconds, but if you're struggling at the 1:30min mark it does kinda matter.

nuke dmg works if you sure that your character can deal big dmg. sadly regular c0 shougun and miko wont do like iwtl doing (without raiden c2-c3, miko c6), so i agree that sustained damage dealer is safer than nuke damage dealer

The last abyss, 2.4 Yoimiya was great on the first half. This abyss I believe her best use is in the second half. Second half is horrible for showcasing speedruns so most people won't do them but her range and ability to shrug off energy drain, because her burst doesn't amount too much, while on the field made her the best on the field DPS for the second half of 2.5 imo

@@lostit4795 actually zhongli elemental shred isn't the best compared to kazuha/sucrose elemental shred (zhongli 20%, kazuha/sucrose 40%). and for xiao zhongli not better than c4 jean (jean 40%). but zhongli mostly used now as anti staggering character more, so he's for comfort run

The closeness sort of highlights how the balance is closer than we think in general and the difference between 'good' and 'bad' barely even matters. You could probably throw a Lisa in for comparison and there would be Lisa mains noting that she did better than expected against the big 5 stars. Not intended to discount Yae here at all, but more-so highlighting the importance of 'play what you like' because in the end if it's 10 or 20 or even 30 seconds, it shouldn't matter. If those seconds matter, there's other problems that need to be addressed that would make a bigger difference than one character choice on one of your teams.

Keep in mind, Raiden needs C3 to do that, Yae needs C6 and also Raiden just refills everyones energy at the same time while nuking everything from existence

you also need to consider that Yae was at c6, Raiden really only needs c2 while she can just run Raiden national at c0, Yae is kind of disappointing at c0

Get C6 yae and you will have no problem. Else 😒😒

@@danielvinceneo3556 yep. Raiden would be just as op if the beta raiden came though (for whales since c4 and c2 were switched and c4 kinda sucks) but many f2p’s/low spenders couldn’t save to get raiden broken so I’m glad they’d hanged it

Maybe this is just copium, but I feel like yae’s damage without a dedicated artifact set is pretty comparable to the units that were tested in the video that do. So I’m expecting her to have higher damage output when she does get her set

Fast foward back 6 months people are cursing about how Yoimiya sucks and if you think otherwise you are coping , comes back to to present, this is exactly what is happening to Yae Miko now.

@@ChiyoTachi ​Yoimiya never really sucked and while her artifacts arent great she always seemed fun to play. Its just she had the unlucky position of getting released after Hu Tao with a similar Playstyle (E infusion), but arguably more fun as even C0 Yoimiya can spam while for Hu Tao without C1 she's not that fun to play. The only reason a lot of people skipped her and called her bad was because she got compared to one of the best DPS characters till this day. However Miko doesn't feel fun to play in my honest opinion. She takes a lot of time to setup and the ult is easily missable. She looks pretty good on IWTL showcase but that's a C6 Miko where her towers actually do damage. Although I do hope in the future she gets a set that makes her a bit more fun to play like how Kokomi got one cuz I really like her Visual design.

Raiden's biggest power spike is at C2/C3, after that most of her constellations aren't great. Yae gets some really good value out of C2, but she gets a big DPS buff at C6 as I recall(The same 60% ignored defense that Raiden gets at C2). Yoimiya is probably best at C4(when she gets the reduced CD on her E that he mentioned in the video). Her C6 is a damage buff, but I don't think it's nearly as big as the damage she gets from her E uptime on C4. The hidden MVP of this comparison though is C6 Sara. That 60% crit damage Yae and Raiden get from her buff goes a long way

@@HSRFirefly man i read it but i am done this not the first time he does this in all the dps showdowns with yoimiya he miss with her supports, artifacts and rotations he did more than 3 times but when he plays raiden or yae or every other character he gives them all the attention with all the respect to IWTL gaming if u want to include yoimiya in a dps showdown ask a good yoimiya player like you did with xiao and childe there a lot of yoimiya mains that do speedruns in the CN community and they were able to those challenges faster

@@bot-xk8nz However, pretty much C2 is really the only major damage increase from her constellations and 25% DMG bonus does not equate to 25% more damage. Her C4 only reduces E cool down by around 2-3 seconds. C3 only adds 3% to the multiplier. Raiden's 60% ignore defense actually more than doubles her damage at C0. Raiden's C3 adds 130% to the multiplier of the initial burst and 13% per normal attack hit (not including the increase in damage per stack). It's actually a large difference on paper. That's why I'm so curious. Cuz if Yoimiya is edging that close with a huge constellation disadvantage, at C0 she MAY take the cake
