I tried my hand at making one of the blue drones from a chase Dalek and I think it turned out pretty well!

@@SameSonicDifferentCase I did once, but I made it into the 2150AD drone but I’m going to get another Dalek to make into the red top and make sure it looks super accurate!

Me too, their some of my favourites! I’ll definitely be doing a video on them, just not sure when as I still need to finish the Saucer Commander and Mine Leader 😉

@@SameSonicDifferentCase Cool. I also done a fanfic crossover on Wattpad called Sonic the Hedgehog and The Daleks Chapter 1 The Daleks. Based on the first Dalek story. The Daleks in it are a mixture of all eras. With 10 Paradigm Daleks as the Supreme Council lead by a Golden Paradigm Supreme Dalek with Silver and Bronze Adornments.

Thanks man! I bought some 5/32" (3.97mm) aluminium tubing from K&S and cut it up into sections the same lenth as the standard plunger arm. Then i fitted the tube into the balljoint and put the standard sucker arm inside 😎

They were being sold by Custom Dalek Creations on eBay but the owner closed shop and sold all their files to Tom’s Refurbishments, they have started to release some parts but no dome lights as of yet. They will be releasing at some point in the future apparently so just keep an eye out on Tom’s Refurbishments page on eBay & Instagram. 👍

Seeing collections like this make me wonder how many fans weren’t able to get a Mechanus set because of people who were bulk-buying from that limited pool of 5000.

Ye I got the set for myself, but only one box. People who buy more than one I just see as huge disrespect and a kick in the face to those who want these sets. I won't hate on those who do buy more than one box as that is irrational, but I do feel it's more considerate to not buy more than one due to only 5000 being made.

@@DalekVisWell there’s six Dalek drones in the film so I bought 4 Sets. 3 to open and one to keep in the box like I always do. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

@@SameSonicDifferentCase I'm not exactly implying there's anything wrong with it, spend your money however you wish. But I just think buying only one was more considerate to those who also wanted them. - 5000 being made, time limit. Not only that but scalpers exist so that adds to the decrease of how many are in stock. But please don't take offense to anything said here. (Not implying you did take offense btw)

@@SameSonicDifferentCase Precisely, because you bought four sets. Four of these limited edition sets going towards a single person means depriving three more people who otherwise would have been able to get their own.
