I think it's amazing how a lot of the people I know on RU-vid or Facebook have brought more than one of these sets, and not because they're skalpers. Idk it's clear these Daleks have left an impact.

I wish I'd been able to buy a second set. I'd have custom painted the other Dalek color schemes. I did just order a second set of HOTD # 2, so that I can custom paint the black one to be the Saucer Controller Dalek

Maybe if canal see how popular here are they might just give character a license to make the whole range of movie Daleks, figures and such! I still don’t get why character stop making a lot of their figures? This to me and the other B&M releases is enough proof there is a demand for them. I really hope they re-release Davros and the special Weapons Daleks. And why can’t they just make Dalek emperor ?

The problem is the only people buying these are collectors. No one is really buying them for their kids. Back in 2005 when these figures were started kids brought them to play with so there was a much bigger demand. Doctor Who was at a peak time around 2005-2010 but now the shows just utter shit and theres not really a demand for these figures to be put in stores like Smyths or Tesco anymore

I think they're also seen in a wide shot hiding behind some weeds and bushes, you can properly make out the fenders and colours (from B&W) in that shot.

With this successful online exclusive, can we have a Online Exclusive speculation video? I know people have been wondering if perhaps we could get Dalek figures from Curse of the Daleks or figures of Terry Nation’s personal Daleks and even if it wasn’t possible for Character to do, a video discussing all the Daleks that Character haven’t made yet would be still a really fun and enjoyable video X)

These are just so beautiful, my all time favourite dalek design, I never thought we'd see a CO figure of it, I thought the chase guard talkie toaster was the closest we'd get, I don't have mine yet, they're still en-route, but I'm super stoked to get them, I think they're really going to be one of the absolute highlights of my collection.

Mine arrived on Thursday and I'm so chuffed with them! Movie Daleks are my favourite Dalek designs of all time so to have definitive 5.5 inch CO versions of the drones is excellent to see, considering we thought it'd never happen at all these are already better than anything I could have hoped for, which was, well, nothing really! 😅 Excellent review, so happy to see how well these beauties are doing and can't wait to see what delights are in store for the future.

I bought one but after receiving it I bought another haha! They look amazing I had to have one to take out of the box. And yes a claw would be awesome but sadly they didn't have them on TV.

Love the Guard Class Daleks in general (don't know why) would like to see more of them with each council rank 4 for the emperor 2 for each supreme 1 for a Fleet commander Also love Blake's 7 would like a sequel series. Have the three other film Daleks be supreme Daleks in a story which we see the whole dalek council then we can have a complete set.

Sorry about the TARDIS being so woefully out of scale .. i think the artwork was altered after i completed it and now its ended up mahoosive! ....lol ..also the BBC rented in the Daleks not borrowed. its a minor difference but it means they were essentially bought and paid for for that explicit purpose as Dalek props.

My Black Dalek from the HOTD Set #2 also has that springy eyestalk. I’ve found pushing the eyestalk inwards towards the dome helps a little bit. Also the ball joints are really stiff, anyone got any tips on how to fix this?

I did buy more than one set because I’ve not bought anything apart from the odd TARDIS since 2010. I felt this was something really special and like most never thought theses Daleks would ever appear.

I pre-ordered mine on the day the set went up on the CO website and it still hasn't turned up! I have waited so long to get these Daleks and I still haven't got them yet! I would have loved to have the old Product Enterprise movie Daleks but I never got a chance and now that CO have done them (at least the drones), I am really excited for them. I just hope they turn up soon.

These went totally under my radar. Shame they weren't released at B&M. I'll have to pay double on ebay for them now. It is a shame they don't have the claws though. Still better than nothing as I've wanted some Amicus Daleks since the first classic Dalek three pack all those years ago (2008?)

I prefer the paint of the guard Dalek. The more metallic tones, I think, are more accurate to the actual colours.

Interesting to compare these with the new Dalek Paradigm, which attempted to replicate the size, colours and boldness of these movie Daleks. Yet got it so wrong when these look fantastic. I think it’s partly, or mainly, because these Daleks maintained the right basic shape, whereas the new ones just looked odd.

I think there were 3 seen actually, two in one shot behind one of their TV Shawcraft cousins, while the other hidden behind set dressing while the Daleks discuss a plan to take the city of Mechanus by force. The Chase is easily one of my fave Hartnell stories... I like to cite it as the most star studded episode in all of Who... I know people will say there are others more worthy because they have say Kylie Minogue or John Hurt in them... but this one is a special one as for UK viewers buying the DVD you get not only the Movie Daleks, but the Beatles! Ironically a few months after filming and the movie props were off to Cannes, John Lennon was seen photographed in front of one of these Daleks. Probably with wife Cynthia attending to promote "Help!" which came out the same year.
