If the launch control didn't work on the tuned M2C, why not do one where the Porsche didn't use launch control either so we can see how the tuned M2C fared....? Great video nevertheless but I think it was an opportunity that should've been taken.
@@888mf4 would of been good to have a stage 2 Og join the race just to see the difference from the comp. I think a great vid would be a OG M2 stage 2 vs a M2 comp to see if saving 10k on the comp and spending 2k on tuning the OG is a route for people to take if there budget doesn’t quite stretch to a comp.

Great video! I just ordered by 2021 M2 Comp so I am happy to see that missing out on a tune won't be the WORST thing in the world. It's still close enough for me to not drop an extra 20k for mods or a CS...for now haha!! One comment for the video itself: I would recommend voiceover work if possible. An audio recap of results and what happened during the run would go a long way I feel.
Disadvantage for CS. Middle of the runway is dusty. You can clearly see it loosing traction due to dust in both races. And a bit late reaction time from the driver.
The critical reason I picked the M2c Over the the M2cs is that I can do insane mod on the M2c without worrying about maintaining how special or how oem it is, If I have the m2cs I probably wouldn’t daily it like my m2c, and won’t have the guts to rev it freely
I enjoy your videos, really need to get the sound sorted though, seems a common weakness on your productions, would make them much more enjoyable. I’d like to see more performance data to if possible 👍
Thanks for the feedback Mark. We had a Racelogic VBOX but couldn't get a GPS signal on the day so couldn't record times. The sound will be sorted. One of the mics wasn't working!!
Arrange a race between 992 Turbo S and Mclaren 765LT. Up to now, we haven't seen any so you will be the first one to do it. It will be awesome for your channel!!
My M2 CS has the 405 horsepower engine not the 444 HP engine as advertised. BMW's official documentation (MCO/MSO) for my car shows that it came with the 405 HP engine. I contacted BMW North America on April 19,2021 about the horsepower discrepancy. They refuse to address my concerns.
Maaaaan i have a 230i bmw and my launch control works all the time and i am pretty sure that m2 CS will kick the A** of that 911, if a driver can’t activate a proper launch control then this video is pointless in my opinion
The owner of the tuned M2 Comp couldn't get launch control to work so we decided not to use it on all cars. The M2 CS had the wrong tyres for UK weather. They couldn't get any heat into them. Thanks for the feedback. Mark.
We were filming on a live runway and there were a lot of planes landing and taking off. So it took us 4 hours to film instead of 2 hours. We had no time to do rolling races. They are also quite difficult to get right as the cars need to be in manual mode to stop them changing up automatically.....
