I've ecosport user since 2014, and I'm proud of my ecosport. There were no options available in those days from Tata or mahindra, so I had to go to ford. But in these 7 years, ecosport never let me regret it.

Driving a ford ecosport or any other ford car feels like you are driving a well-engineered machine... The confidence it gives when you are driving at high speed, the thud it gives when you close the hood, doors and tailgate is very enthusiastic and strong, the handling of ecosport around the corners is still its benchmark in this segment, and one more thing.. just giving a more powerful engine isn't enough,engine refinement also plays an important role ... Ecosport even after having less power nd torque i.e.,99 bhp and 215 Nm compare to XUV 300 i.e, 115 bhp and 300 Nm.. still Ecosport performed very well... and a car is all about practicality XUV 300 being a compact SUV have the same size of boot as the ford figo, tata Tiago and some hatchbacks which doesn't make any sense at all! Talking about Ecosport, it has one of the biggest boot in its segment with no loading lip at all! And one thing is sure that if you'll drive ecosport or any ford car... After that you won't get that much enthusiasm in any other car in that segment... And one more thing.. ford is competing in all the segments and is still dominating i.e., ecosport is competing in compact SUV segment, Endeavour is dominating in full size 4x4 SUV segment, figo and free style is competing in hatchbacks...

Even being a liitle-heavy weighted car, Xuv300 will go ahead because of more torque difference in both petrol and Diesel variants But in a long highway race, Ford's engine will show true colors specially in petrol variant with 123 ps power

One correction. If this ES belongs to Divesh, then it's bs4 disel with 100 bhp & 200 NM torque. Only bs6 disel has 215 NM torque.

EcoSport linear acceleration helped it to come close but xuv 1st gear will lag it doesn't push that much same with my xuv 300 diesel.

I can see comments full of ecosport fanboys but the fact is xuv300 is true gem in every aspect from build quality to performance ... I've driven both of them... And I'm driving cars over more than 10-12 years in my opinion ecosport is 19 if xuv300 is 20 ...and that's the bitter truth
