i have a yfz450x stock besides 2 more teeth in the rear and she is a best in the woods and i know you like the trails a lot, i would recommend getting some more teeth in the back
I need to make a road trip and mow one more lane there for my YFZ against both of those. New Cp 13:5:1 and Stage 3 Hot Cam will be here next week! Put the ole race quad next to you guys with the shock setup as well. She's been snagging holeshots recently.
@@BWADaniel Not yet I haven't. I have quite a few friends that I race the WORCS Series with out here that have done the upgrade and never had an issue with the starter. Once I do install it, I'll let you know if I have any issues.
I should’ve added this in my last comment on this video but I didn’t think about it. But I recently got a 2013 trx450r and I’ve done odds and ends on it got a full dasa on it and it just screams man wicked fast and since you have had a TRX now the yfz what’s the difference in the too and is it noticeable? Cause I couldn’t imagine it being way faster then my TRX but I’d still like to get a yfz that’s why I’m asking?
As far as a drag race I can't really tell ghat there is much power difference the yfz power delivery is smoother where the Honda like rockets lol the yfz handles way better overall and allows me to go faster in the trails that's the main difference I like about it
Not gonna lie stock 450s aren't that fast. Especially stock, yours sounds so quiet idk that it's stock but very quiet. Been awhile since I'm on the RU-vid with all my quad stuff going on, just blew my crank out tho so now I'm watching people ride instead 😉
No problem! My yfz dynoed at roughly 44 hp and the 400ex stock was like 26 haha so this one is only a 407 but with some interesting mods and it's running well against me so it's easily mid 30s in my opinion
@@BrewerOffroad it’ll help when ya figure it out in dirt sand or whatever. Pin it dump the clutch n if the front comes up to high take a finger n barely bump the clutch to drop it down
