The best part was when Tallis asked Isabela if she wanted to have a purpose in life, and Isabela replied: "I HAVE a purpose...I have Hawke..." It was one of the best romance moments in the game :D
Best scene would have to either be Isabela talking to Hawke about how Gamlen is bothering her or how Isabela gets completely territorial with FemHawke. I have vids about both scenes. Isabela is probably my favourite love interest of the game.
@FluffyNinjaLlama Thanks for posting all of these by the way, I just played through it for a 2nd time and I don't think I could play through again just for a few different lines of dialogue :p
@RRTurbulence I heard about this banter but never got it myself. :( It’s really sweet and very not like Isabela to admit something like this in public.
@FluffyNinjaLlama I'm pretty sure the one I was referring to was romance related, at least it seemed like it was to me since my Hawke and her were in a romance and she's probably living at the estate by now Now that I think about it though I can see how that could just be a general banter that happens and I just assumed it was romance specific since I was in a romance with her lol, plus my Hawke was a sarcastic Hawke so the teasing her about it seemed like it's just part of their relationship
morrigan and isabela are goated in my opinion the romance arcs are quite similar and you really have to work for it cause they only gradually let their guard down. I also thought that the isabela romance also shaped my hawke a little more since he’s a more humorous type. The others make him a little generic. With Isabela you can tell they’re having fun and making each other laugh. When you do the humorous options with aveline for example she doesn’t respond well. It’s kind of a shame that the inquisition romances didn’t have this type of romance except for maybe sera but there wasn’t one for a male protagonist. Cassandra was a cute romance and my go to since she’s the only female companion you can romance as a guy but I wish we’d gotten a more interesting one. Hopefully in Dreadwolf we get a few more compelling romances. Origins had some of the best in bioware history with morrigan, leliana and alistair and 2 had isabela, but inquisition kinda pales in comparison. Either way though nothing beats liara and yennefer for video game romances.
