Sorry, but this actually isn't a new storyline. This is a console version of the pc game Dragon Ball Online which was widely popular in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. It never made it to the states or anywhere else. Servers for the game was shutdown in 2013. But it's still worth playing.

Battle of Z was at least better than Ultimate Tenkaichi, but it did leave quite a bit to be desired. It looks like the game borrows a lot from BoZ, but I hope only the okay parts and leave out the bad stuff.

This game is really something. The graphics are amazing, from what I've seen there will be really interesting story and the fact that you can make your own character from 5 different races is just outstanding. I can't wait for this game to come out!!!

NovaTD Nope. SSJ2 is the current cap. Your CC is as strong as the plot demands. Theres no in-universe explanation for being able to beat Beerus in base. You were just good at pressing buttons.

***** Balancing issues dude. The way its shaping up, Saiyans will be the only race with transformations and transformations boost stats in this. It would break the game if Saiyans could always be 2-3X stronger than the other races. Im ignoring SSJ forms entirely and just going the Mystic route by sticking to Base and maxing my stats. Gives me more ultimate options too.

Yeah, you can have up to a team of 3. Kind of like how Destiny did it. Which is interesting. I was chatting with some other new friends on if we are able to have a team world tournament. A team of 3, versus another team of 3 per battle. That would be a great concept.

You can create a female Saiyan, Earthling, or Majin. Namekians are asexual so they technically don't have a gender, and the Frieza race, well, I don't know the excuse for that one.

Even though I want to believe in a good DB game, Namco-Bandai have been exploiting without mercy the franchise with shitty games. I really hope I'm wrong, even though I will wait to the reviews, if they are better than a 7/10 it could be the game all the DB fans have been waiting for almost a decade since "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3"

nicksmi56 Finally I didn't survive the hype and I bought the whole thing(Steam). They got me with the new storyline and future Trunks... my bad, it's the first game I pre-order in my life, I'm so eager to play... I have checked the background of the developer "Dimps". They have some great titles under their belt (DBZ Budokai 3, Street Fighter IV, Sonic Colors, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I), but also some releases with mixed reviews. What I can conclude from this is that they try to innovate, sometimes they make it sometimes don't.

nicksmi56 how df are you going to go by reviews. when those guys scored Battle of Shit higher than Budokai 3 and Raging Blast 2!! Those guys clearly have no taste in DBZ games!

Dontay Franklin Those guys who? There are plenty of reviewers out there. And even if you don't agree with the score, they still describe the game in detail so you can decide whether you like what you're hearing or not. Game developers will always show you the best possible gameplay they can because they want you to buy it, even if the actual game sucks. That's more skewed than any review
