Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Is A Blast On Switch 

@DarkMonke so much for the ps5 and xbox fans hating on switch saying the switch is weak all because of sonic colors ultimate right? I mean serious this system is stronger than the wii u, which ran xenoblade chronicles x, the biggest open world game ever made, and they think its weak? maybe this is the wake up call they needed.

@@MistaWind have you even played it? Or looked at comparison videos? If not you can't say that. Its so big you can fit fall out 4's map inside it 4 times and witcher 3's inside it 3 times. Heres another example for you, skyrim's is 37 km big, xenoblade x's is 400 km big. It takes 32 minutes to run across all of xenoblade x, and thats not counting the areas in the sky. And yet you all call the wii u and switch weak lmao. edit: okay so its not the biggest, but its still the 9th biggest as of 2019 with 154 miles of map. and unlike alot of the games listed its a seamless open world with zero loadtimes. on the wii u. so much for wii u and switch being weak.

My first anime before even knowing what anime was is Sonic which I played like since I was 4 or so. Then I bought Naruto games later on with no knowledge. And then when I read some of the manga Fullmetal Alchemist and finally now I started by watching Jojo and am into anime.

Ikr, I saw those rings and had PTSD flashbacks. I may be one of a hundred people ever who actually went through and did all the ring levels as a kid / teen (it took that long and that many restarts). They were bad... so, so bad.

Ye, in Xenoverse 1 he's your partner. You fight with him multiple times and such. He's in Xenoverse 2 but you're a different person there so he's not your partner. But the game's basic premise is going through time and rectifying changes in the timeline.

The Trunks DLC for this game has a lot of sick extra trunks story after his dbz ending

Same! I been looking for a dragonball game like that for yearsss. Buu's Fury was so much fun and didn't feel overwhelmingly grindy. Do you have any suggestions of games like that, that arent dragon ball?

Buu‘s Fury and Legacy of Goku 2 were awesome. Would love a remake of both games for the Switch

I agree. But at least there are some refrences to og DB in this game. For example, the desert when Yamcha is intruduced is a location in the game. And android 8 is also in the game as side quest character.

The fighting is kinda like in Xenoverse 2 but much more streamlined/stripped down. And basically yes about the map. The main draw I would say is the retelling of the story of DBZ which it does do a decent job of (although some story events are missing).

The world looks exactly like on the anime lol Only moments there is a lot of stuff around is when they were on cities... apart from that DBZ worlds are planes basically for fight haha

Agreed, I’m easily amused by Dragon Ball games, but this is the first time since Budokai in 2002 that I haven’t been able to get into the game. Just barely beat Raditz and can’t find the motivation to continue with it. I don’t even know what I would change to make the game better, but it definitely feels like there’s something missing. I know for one the character models are ugly as sin and not particularly accurate to the source material, especially coming off of FighterZ.

It's because the devs are aware that the switch isn't as powerful the other current consoles, so instead of releasing it the same time as the other versions, they continue working on it so that it runs well on switch, a lot of other video game devs should take notice.

It all depends on how commited the company is in porting it on Switch. Some do it justice, some are just lazy.

Yep, it includes some of the Dragon Ball Super content but there is more DLC that did come out
