I paraglide, skydive and kite surf, and we had one guy at a fly site for Paraglide’s and hang gliders try and fly his kite wing and all he did was bomb out and put everyone else at danger because you don’t have great control over the wing, you’re pretty much at the mercy of the wind. Cool stunt, I hope it was well planned out and all other pilots out there was briefed about what was going on?

Dude. Why all the negativity? This guy is a test pilot for paragliders, he flies with Just Acro acrobatic paragliding team, and is flying with a reserve parachute and paragliding harness.

Pero déjame darte un consejo bienintencionado, para volar usa un parapente y para hacer tracción y moverte por el suelo usa una cometa. Hacer las dos cosas al reves es posible y meritorio y exije valor y dominio de ambos sistemas, pero no inteligente. En el fondo es que sin conocerte ya me caes bien y no quiero que te hagas daño innecesariamente !!...jajajaja. Un abrazo.

These kites are not designed for this, if any of those lines had snapped...he would have been totally fucked...get a 'Flysurfer' kite at least if you want to mimic a paraglider

I'm sorry but you were being a nuisance to the paragliders. This coming from a kiter/paraglider.

Unfortunately this guy cannot actually fly a kite. He could easily have lauched himself in the conditions that were prevailing at the beginning of the video, had he "worked" the kite to generate power. Sadly, he's just a passenger here, not really fully in command of the kite...
