ODdm3 Because in Dragon Quest 8, the European localization added British voice actors when the Japanese version had zero voice acting. That carried over to at least the American version too.

carmelo romano - this game was released last year in Japan for the PS4 / PS Vita. it will only be released on the PS4 in the west most likely remote play on the vita.

KiuanTroll I honestly can't see anything objectively wrong with this dub, it sounds fine. I mean, I'm just reading the comments and saw some people say it sucks but didn't give any actual reason why it does.

Ryan Kim The Switch version has exclusive extra content and the obvious feature to play anywhere. The PS4 version just has better graphics (not sure how much better though you'll have to watch comparisons for that)

Trustworthy Traitor Yeah it has an extra character: Ragnar McRyan from Dragon Quest 4. And also an extra boss fight. There could be more content but I'm not sure.
