How is it that they both got cast into roles that reflected their actual personalities so well? Josh is just a good kid and tries his hardest to be a good person, and Drake is constantly fucking up with the questionable choices he makes in life. That is some next level foreshadowing lmao
@@HereGoesKevin Are you saying Josh or me? Yeah Josh used to be obese. He was cast as the goofy fat nerdy kid but got pretty lean. If your talking about me, I have a normal bmi but chunky cheeks. Can't do much about it.
@@maxderholzrusse7301 No, I mean that's the person he played in his role on Drake and Josh when he was a kid to young adult. He ended up doing fucked up things as an adult. Whether he himself is a bad person, that's your judgement. I don't think he's a very good person, but I also only know him based on what I see online.
I was reading through the comments during that part and it was so smooth that just listening to it I thought it was part of the actual trial. I was very confused.
This is what made this so funny to me. I keep subconsciously watching Josh more then Drake in the intro because projecting reality unto my childhood is giving me 2nd degree embarrassment burns
Drake: “It wasn’t me, your honor. It was some other guy!” Judge: “And what was this guy’s name?” Drake: “Guy...” Judge: “And what was his buddy’s name?” Drake: “Buddy...”
Magic Marker: *14* “Can you check the federal age of consent?” “Sure.” Drake opens a book of laws that says *18* “I see the problem.” “O H D O Y A H?!”
Common mistake: child endangerment isn’t child grooming or pedophillia. Child endangerment usually refers to commiting a crime while in the presence of a minor or leaving a child in a hot car. It’s still a really terrible thing to do but it’s definitely not as bad as pedophillia(which excuses nothing but it’s important people know the difference)
Yes, this is a big differentiation to make. (Example: this is a giant misconception that many media platforms mislead the GP about in the first civil suit (and not the criminal suit) filed against MJ.) I haven’t looked to much in this case particular case - though, from what I (think I) know, Drake has been accused of sending sexual images to the young girl in question. He’s also been accused of preforming sexual acts with her, so I wonder about any potential sexual abuse/statutory rape charges being made against him.
I dunno. Grooming a child sounds pretty endangering to a child's mental well being and health and so on. Can ruin their life. But if you mean just by law name sake, then I get it.
@@asecretchannel4135 apparently he was accused of raping her, but there was no evidence and the girl keep contradicting herself(going by the attorney words), which reminds me of a video about his facial expressions on the trial but i think if someone falsely accused me i would also have a scorn/mockery look in my face tbh. Lack of evidence and too little info its what makes this kind of stuff a pain the ass
Judges have to try tons of cases a day where they have to speak loudly and clearly. Most judges are also on the older sider of the profession. It's possible his vocal chords are strained from all of that. He could also just have a bit of allergies or a cold. Pretty common for Judges to be a bit raspy though.
The way Drake handled it tipped me off that he's not a good dude. If Josh didn't invite him, there was probably good reason, and that's the sort of thing you handle privately, not on Twitter so fans can get upset without knowing the full story. He basically strongarmed Josh into associating with him again.
You know it's pretty true to the characters that josh would have a stable life with a family while drake's life is ruined. It's like that episode where josh said he's done with drake and josh was actually succeeding in life without drake while he was falling apart. They DID however make up at the end but sadly this didn't happen irl.
It's funny how all the girls crushed on Drake and ppl were rather laughing at the character of Josh but look at the actors now: Josh Peck had a glow up, started taking care of his body, has a family and a nice and stable life while Drake Bell is going to jail lol
@@sirenstrike4163 I don’t think, but maybe. It’s an equivalent to a high school diploma meant for people who couldn’t take normal high school at a usual period in their lives (for him it was because he was acting)
Drake & Josh fans: *This is the worst, day, ever.* Drake: *Because I’m going to jail?* Drake & Josh fans: *No cause its a little humid-YES ‘CAUSE YOU’RE GOING TO JAIL!!!!!*
Oh Drake, how could this happen? This time, you really are guilty of a crime. People will judge you and question your character. And Josh and Megan won’t be there to bail you out this time. 😤
The crazy thing about that intro is how fitting the charges could be to what Drake was describing in the original episode. Child Endangerment...Go Karts. Harmful Material...Coffee (Maybe not harmful perse, but definitely not good.)
