he is totally right about tip number too, I am Italian , it is very annoyin to see peole around dressed in two opposite shades, they call it ""spezzato", "divided", but when the two colors are polar opposite it is horrible. It maybe be suitable for WOMEN because enphasizes siluettes, but it is so bad taste for men. Italy it is no nomore the country of good taste, it is nothing but a myth of the past. USA brands are much better quality and USA designers are way ahead.
@@chadsexinton Any tailor can shorten pants for about $15 per pair. Take 'em in to your local dry cleaner/alterations place with the tags still on. Come back three days later.
Im subscribed to many fashion channels. But antonio was the first. I started my journey around 4 years ago and im very grateful to him and every other channel. You have greatly improved my confidence. And im sure many other guys can say the same thing. Thank you from everyone Antonio
Agreed. His was the first I came upon as well, and I still watch his videos while others I've stopped viewing. His ever-evolving methods and format is a key to keeping the audience engaged.
I have a small party tomorrow and don't want to be overdressed but still going classy, this and more of your videos really help me out in those kind of situations. 💪🏽❤
Thanks to Antonio and Brock! I'm a younger guy of eighteen, about to graduate high school and I've been following your channel for a few months now and I've noticed a big difference in my life! I feel better about myself and my body. I get more respect from my peers and even teachers. And sometimes I even find myself answering fashion questions from friends. Thank you so much for all your work and advice! You're the best!
Good video, Antonio. I’m 5’1”, definitely on the shorter side, and have been watching your, Brock’s, and Alpha’s videos for about four years. Great info. Thanks!
At 5'9" (an actual 5'9"), I find Brock's advice on style, fit and color informative. Sometimes it seems like clothing manufacturers and retailers think all men are 6'0", when about 33% of men are 5'8" and under.
I'm a towering 5ft6 and it can be difficult to find clothes that fit well but when it comes to clothes I find the hunt as enjoyable as the clothing itself.......Semper Fi
Man these guy's were obviously busy and still gave great info, why come here to thumbs down or be negative. This has helped me tremendously thanks. 🤓 2 😎
Great video! I'm 6'1/2, 6'3 in shoes, liked both of your style tips, especially for me as an adolescent who is almost an adult soon. Anyway, stay classy and smart.
You just had to add that half inch and your height with heels. Like who does that? Even short guys like myself wouldn’t say that. Man be glad you’re 6 feet. I would’ve been happy if I was at least 5’.9”.
Being from Houston this is essential! We've had a crazy year with the floods and snow twice in a year (unheard of!) But our summers are HOT and HUMID! You gotta know how to make casual style work for you
I'm 6'1" and slightly chubby, with a really fair complexion; so I get stared at all the time. What I find really helpful, is the way RMRS, The Modest Man and I am Alpha M have taught me that its perfectly Ok to look different; and to make a few neat changes to level up my image in the way I present myself - because folks stare at me anyway, so I should own it and have some fun. with it. A Thousand Thanks Gents, A Thousand Thanks - I'm always recommending you guys.
Antonio, this makes me feel better about looking stylish without a sports coat. I mean, I have some nice casual shirts but I like that this video made me feel more ok with it.
Where I live around 180 cm which is 5'11 is considered short for guys these days. The average is about 6'1 (185 cm) for guys...Dinaric Alps areas in the Balkans...just ahead of the Dutch and the Vikings XD I'm 196 cm which is 6'5 and its quite a common height here.
Great video, I actually tried cuffing my jeans last week for the first time. It felt a bit akward at first but it felt normal after a couple of hours. Very good advice.
One thing I've been trying to get used to lately is dressing up more regularly. I love wearing a tie. I love the way it makes me look and feel, which is confident. One thing I can't get used to though is having that top button buttoned and that tie wrapped around my neck. I find myself constantly pulling at the collar in discomfort.
Hey Antonio, make a video about wearing shawl lapels casually on a suit and blazer and ideas on how to wear a double breasted suit casually like with a t shirt? More videos about how to wear pink dress shirts would be nice too, how to wear vests casually would be cool Your videos on the heritage and technical aspects of menswear are great, now try to focus on modern styling and mixing formal and casual wear if you can
haha, great little video. To the average man I may be weird to hear about how can small changes make a guy self consious however it's true. I only recently got out of the habit of wearing shorts below the knees. . . a major early 2000's thing. But once I started changing the lengths of shorts, wearing around the house it just felt good. I look a lot better now.
I am 5'7 to be honest i am very comfortable with my height. I am right in the middle and everything fits just right. I wouldn't change my height for anything.
F M really? I buy my clothes at Express and they seemed to have what i need. I wear 30/30 on jeans, slacks or chinos and any shirt wether it's casual or formal just a small fitted.
1:13 cloth has to fit your body type. Tips for bigger guys, pay attention to like silhouette. 2:40 pay attention to color like ... light with light, dark with dark 3:08 do little things to make your outfit more casual like like roll your cuff above the elbow roll your pants cuff etc. socks less with loafers...
Great video and information. I have been watching you videos for a while the other day at work a VP looked at me up and down few times. Dressing right commands authority and sense control of the situation. Don't get me wrong but it represents presence in a room. Like my grand father once told me height is not measured from the ground to your head, but from you head to the sky. Cheers Guys
Hey men, I just have to say.... I dress like crap! I live in Orlando Fl. and you can not find clothes that fit! I buy a suit and they don't want to teller it to fit. Crazy town. Like the video.
You don't have tailor in town? That must be bad omg.. I'm a shorter guy and everything i buy gotta go straight from shop to the tailor, I'd advise you to never settle for less than good tailor so u gotta try few, also when u buy something search on google images someone with your body type wearing same thing who you like how it fits on them and take that pic to ur tailor to SHOW them what you really want. Good luck!
Hi Antonio, I've heard that the average height for a man is 5'9" today. Back in the 40s supposedly it was around 5'6" to 5'7" and men were skinnier, as evident by the old Air Corps A2 flight jackets. I myself always wanted to be taller but Italian genes got in the way. As always a great video. Semper Fi Marine.
SteveM8 I have a real dilemma at work when trying to dress in a more classic men's style that leans toward casual styling. As a consultant in the IT industry, I work in chilly, air conditioned offices and need someway to layer over a business dress shirt/trousers combination that does not involve wearing a blazer or sports coat. They give off too formal of a vibe even when paired with chinos or jeans; causing me to quickly out-dress both my managers and most of my clients. Beside sweaters (which look odd outdoors on a hot summer's day), what other top layer options do you suggest? Also, please consider producing a video on this topic. I suspect there are many people with this dilemma in today's ever more casual office environment.
You poor puppy! The problem you are describing is classified as "first world problem", therefore not worth mentioning when mankind is facing extinction due to climate change within 200 years, from an optimistic perspective. I hope your classic men's style matches the colour of the dirt you are falling into once the dehydration kicks in.
Great video. I'll definitely check out his channel. Also, I'm 5'9"... 5'10" in shoes. I do consider myself short but I don't let it bother me because I'm Filipino so it could be a lot worse. However, I'm also in physical therapy school right now and I would say that most of the guys in my class break 6' which makes me self conscious about my height sometimes.
Real Men Real Style LOL definitely! I don't wear suits or jackets so this video was right up my alley. Oh, and even though I'm 6'1" I still learn from the Modest Man channel just like I learn from RMRS 👍🏽
I was watching alpha m. Spin jump video when this video popped out. Are you guys planning about videos? Bcos I usually saw you posted a video after alpha m. posted it. I mean under 1 minutes or so . That's not a coincidence
