You can use some light colored laminate flooring and use it on the wall to look like ship lap. Makes a really pretty feature wall for your pics!

Laminate furniture is so hard to work with. I learned the hard way that only an oil-based primer would keep my paint from bubbling up while trying to chalk paint a piece I was working on. You do great meticulous work. I'm sure you have made many a happy buyer!!

When u run a tape line, u should apply a very small amount of caulking to the tape edge. Just wipe the access up with a warm wrap damp rag. Ur paint line will be perfect!

Brilliant idea using the flooring to stage instead of having to take it into your house. When you stage your items have you ever thought about what most flippers do and that is add a few trinkets on top of the piece? Stylish trinkets of course. I’m trying to think what I’ve seen most of them use and it’s usually things like vintage books, some beautiful flowers, maybe a lamp. I just think it gives the piece a nice homely feel. Also another thing you could do to make it look & feel a lot more homely is add a small rug under your piece. Not so it covers your new wooden flooring but so you can see the rug and the flooring. I always think that looks stunning. A lot of the flippers have gone to the trouble to make their own staging wall. Which is kind of like your wood flooring but in a vintage distressed white (usually) the best one I’ve seen is she got her hubby to make it for her and on one side she did the wood panels going across in the white distressed colour and then she also painted the other side of the wall with quite a dark colour. Not black black, but dark. And she explained she would flip the wall depending what colour her furniture was that she had painted so it would make her piece pop against the backdrop. And her wall was so cool as it was on wheels so she could easily move it by herself. And like you she put a wooden floor down and then put a rug under her piece. She said it just adds layers and different textures. Her staging pictures always turned out TOP NOTCH!! p.s you need to buy some of the gold gilding wax 🙂 beautiful work as always 👍

That darn MDF that just does not play well does it? Stunning!!! Love the staging setup. That's what I want to do in my garage too but not until the weather breaks it's just too cold out there right now we have no heat in the garage. I'm afraid to use a space heater cuz I don't want to blow myself up. That would make a terrible mess.😎

Killz makes an amazing spray primer. Highly recommend it as it has phenomenal coverage and it blocks tannens, smells, and stains

You may want to seal the gilding on the drawer pulls. That stuff is made for items that are not touched a lot. It will wear off from oils from your hands.

Exquisite!!! The only thing I would have changed and of course it is my opinion...it to take off the bottom center piece scroll. I think the legs were ornate enough but removing that piece would have made your dresser cabinet have cleaner lines but with that said your are and incredible artist and very creative!

Why did you sell the mirror separately? It usually adds value to have the original mirror, especially when you had an entire set.

More videos please. I do like the way this one came out. You know what you are doing when applying all the products. I would've preferred if you had done the stain on top to match the stained drawers. I know you used the same stain but for some reason on video, they look different. The dark drawers on front gave a good contrast to the white and I think that is what the top needed, more contrast against the white edge. I do like the laminate flooring for staging. Now you need a picture on the wall. You will like the new sprayer you talked about. It's 100% better performer than the Wagner.

Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ru-vid.comUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

I would have cut off the lower trim and put bun feet there, for a more updated look. Also, I would either stain all the drawers or none. In my opinion, the mixed look is a little awkward. That said, you do awesome work! Totally not trying to throw any shade on that!
