May be the case of you grossing 75 76 thousand..but If you grossing 85 to 95 thousand like I am...you gotta get up and stay in high rpms or else this acert motors wont perform...gimmie a 6nz any day
I gross 88 to 98k typically. I tried running the engine down low like that but the EGTs were getting close to 900°F+ on small hills. I wasn't gonna blow my engine up. 1400 to 1700rpm is what I've found works best with my kinda weights.
Such BS.....never lug a CAT engine down under 1200rpm You will sheer your rivets off your clutch lugging at CAT under 1200 1300 to 1600 is best rpm range for a CAT
