Filmed Feb 21, 2020 - Today we’re starting one of the craziest road trips of our lives: a tuk tuk trip across Sri Lanka!! 🛣We'll be spending the next week driving this green beast all over the country 🇱🇰 The traffic is pretty nuts, so it was a super hectic first day, but boy was it fun! Hello there from day 4 of quarantine! We’re currently laying low in the states, but luckily we have so many fun adventures stored up from our recent travels. Please note that this series was filmed well before any major bans or restrictions were in place. That said, we hope these adventures can provide some much needed distraction and entertainment in such a crazy/uncertain time. Stay safe and sane out there!!

Take lots of vitimin C, keep well hydrated, avoid NSAID type drugs is strongly advised, thats asperin, ibuprofen and naproxen ect. This is advice being out by NHS england fyi. You 2 should be ok even if you get abit of flu, even without the vitamins, the NSAID drugs can cause extreme reactions in younger people... I hope your both doing ok btw. We were told yesterday odd smells or loss of taste and smell can be 1st symptom, then fever, cough... symotoms vary though. Some have no symptoms, and its 2weeks from 1st symptom showing until others should be let out the house. I presume youd know this btw, but incase info is different over in the usa. This virus is scary frankly, in best case 35mil die around the planet and its a bad flu year, but this could kill 10X that if it continues to spread. Personally, if i am going to die, i want to help others, and slow the spread. I fetched shopping for 8 people yesterday, i had to go out regardless of risk, but they did not. I phoned a few people who are laying low or self isolating, and got their stuff at same time as mine. Dumped it at their doors, took cash owed carefully, and retreated. I think everyone needs to help because those who will die are your parents, friends and family, as it will be for mine and everyone else in fact. People should help where they can, stay home if they cannot. Quit taking kids shopping especially!! If its slowed enough, we can save 95% of those currently looking at a death sentence. BUT ONLY IF EVERYONE DOES THIS.

I am in awe of how good you guys have gotten at video recording and editing of your vlogs. You guys are just on a different level from other vloggers I have seen, and the seamless editing on this one in which you guys were constantly on the move was beyond impressive. I learned the hard way, always carry sports socks so you can put them on when you have to take your shoes off, cleaner and saves your feet from the heat! Really enjoy your video

Great to see Sri Lanka. You must have driven through Hikkaduwa on your way to Galle. If you'd stopped there you'd have seen the tsunami train. When the last tsunami hit the island there were about 2000 people trying to escape on that train. As it went thru Hikkaduwa it got hit by the wave. About 1200 people lost their lives. It's now in a siding as a memorial, untouched since that day.

I have just made it back safe home to Sweden. I was stuck in Zimbabwe and was able to catch one of the last flights out of the country. The whole situation just feels so surreal and I hope that we all can resume to traveling as soon as possible. Wishing everyone to stay safe and healthy. My husband is Sri Lankan and every time we go to Sri Lanka I go with my hubby on the motorbike. Took some time to get used to that😂🙈. Sri Lankan roads a so scary. Well done you for going around in a tuk tuk! Looks so much fun!

Me and my family got some bad luck I was meant to go back to Sri Lanka last year during the summer but there was a bomb attack so the next year summer I had to go but now we’re in quarantine so I can’t leave
