I am now actually considering doing that to my tractor, seriously. The price of extreme terrain tires is through the roof. Thank you gentlemen for the idea.
That actually reads really well as a typical Country Song narrative, except that the husband would have been drunk and taken the pickup truck to pick up his mama from prison in the rain...
A limited slip or lockable diff and a couple of extra inches ground clearance it would have been almost unstoppable. I imagine it would not be that good on a tarmac road, the bolts would slip and soon wear away. Mini tractor tyres may be a better option.
I had my friend do this in the 90's to his bicycle. It was hard for him to bike in the ice and snow. I said try putting nuts and bolts and put a no flat solid rubber tube in it. He did and was so happy. I believe adding the belt ribs is the greatest improvement. Well done guys.
You guys should build a Lada rally car and race it! Milk some power out of the engine, suspension change, weight reduction...full race car for dirt cheap, while also safe.
agreed !!! and one of the drivers should be the young buck that was at the wheel when they pulled out the car , he's got some real russian energy in him :))
Two farmers talking: My plow is broken. Oh yeah. Ask Garage54 if they can plow your land with this nice Lada. Nice Car and very good pictures of the russian birch woods.
nope ) local car washes kinda used to that ) they even has special position in the price list . and i'm not joking .there's like 100 off road fans in the city ,even my neighbour has Nissan Patrol y61 with 35" wheels
Makes sense. My uncle was a farmer and all he needed was a pair of mud grip tires on his truck and he was good. No 4WD needed. Of course if he did get stuck, he’d just pull it out with a tractor.
Thank you for finally rendering the video aspect ratio correct again. These tyres look pretty damn effective. Imagine these tyres on one of the 4x4s, that truly would be near unstoppable.
you know a Garage 54 racing game would be neat, get different upgrades like: more engines, Ladzilla, Ladzilla with new gearbox, Turbocharged Ladzilla, 6x6 Lada, 2-Door Lada, Tires with screws, Homemade offroad tires, Lead Filled tires, Bike Tires, Chain Tires, etc. With special vehicles like the Sauna UAZ, Pool Volvo, Ice Car, Amphbious car, the Ass Tank. There's more than enough Vehicles Built by them to make a fun, Silly racing games, even if half of the Upgrades would probs make the racing more difficult ( I can't imagine Lead or Concrete Tires would make the experience very fun)
These guys should fit a small 3 door car (Something like a Toyota Echo/Yaris) with some Quad-Bike Tires. I did it once and the giggles keep on rolling out of me and the mates.
Hardly roadworthy, but of course they're off-road tires.... Lightweight vehicle with good traction can go a lot of places a heavy 4wd will not. High-centering will stop any vehicle of course. Crazy, extreme, and useful knowledge: that's why I watch. Keep up the good work.
